“We came around 8:00 to 9:00. We got out drinks and table right when we got there. We ordered our food once we got our drinks. The food got at our table in 10 minutes. Our server named Angela was super nice. She smiled and was checking in. We will definitely be coming back!“
“We no longer live in Hanford but when we're in the area to visit family we always stop at Frosty King..maybe more than once to pick up a Large drink with extra ice for the drive home. This time we had Burgers and yummy crinkle fries! Good old fashioned hamburgers. The best! Can't find anything this good where we live.“
“If you were looking for something that is a Home cookin meal, this is definitely the place for you. It really reminds you of a diner that you would see on TV, staff is incredibly friendly, food and coffee comes out hot I have no complaints. Great job you guys and thank you.Kid-friendliness: They were very polite to our children and had a great meal for them as well. My kids like this so much they said they can’t wait to go back“
“If you are addicted to snazzy and pop, go to Denny's or somewhere, but if you want to enjoy the type of America when life was easier, most of definitely go to Star Restaurant in Hanford. A return to an earlier time, and decorated accordingly, with lower prices, hard working wait staff, home cooking - nothing sent from corporate freezers, a look at the past -back to1901, and pancakes the size everyone used to serve is what you will find. Don't be like some of the reviewers who are probably so stressed and hurried, they are looking for a McDonald's experience in a jewel of the past. Stop demanding and enjoy what is there. Just be pleasant, smile and say thank you when being served by some of the hardest working waitresses in the west - the way it used to be mostly everywhere. You will leave calm, well fed, and glad you slowed down a bit to enjoy the finer things in life - your neighbors, great food and prices, and poss some disdain toward our more modern ways. Enjoy this hometown favorite!“
“I was gifted with excellent customer service and superb breakfast cuisine. They were busy but efficient and courteous. It's an older building and small spot that could use some TLC, but as a whole diner experience choice. It ranks top spot on my list. Highly recommend the Strawberry Crepes meal. On point.“
“My daughter and I stopped by for dinner on an annual road trip we take around Easter. We were blown away. Our server Julia was a class act from the very beginning. The menu provided a lot of creative and interesting dishes, and the drink menu also offered a nice variety. The restaurant ambiance was classy, and although we initially felt underdressed after being on the road, we were made to feel extremely comfortable. I recommend this restaurant if you ever stop by Hanford. Maybe you will even be lucky enough to be seated in Julia's section.“
“I am a long time local in Hanford. Until recently I had no idea Irwin St Inn offered such great quality meals. They have the best steak locally. Whether it's the Ribeye or Filet, everytime is superb. Don't miss out on this local gem!“
“Haven't been to Dickey's in a long time, but decided to stop today (1/14), and I can say things have massively improved. From the customer service that made us feel welcomed and attended to, the food hit the spot. Definitely will be coming back here again and again.“
“We use to go to Applebee's because I like the baby rack ribs but the service was not good and we try chili's and found out they have the ribs and the service is much much better now we just go to chili's.Parking: The parking lot is very close to the restaurant.“
“It is one of the most consistent restaurants in the area. I have yet to have a bad meal here or at any of their other locations. The wait staff is really friendly and helpful. Sometimes, there is wait, usually weekend mornings, but the breakfast and pancakes are worth the wait. When ordering a burger, ask for the grilled sourdough instead of a regular roll.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of options for picky eaters“
