“Me and my fiancé discovered this place back in December while out and now it’s our favorite place. It is such a chill place to unwind or gather with friends. The bartenders are friendly and make you feel welcome. They have a great craft beer and wine selection. We actually had a party there last weekend with some close friends and we had such a great time! Big thank you to the owner and staff for letting us throw a party there. “Nice dive bar. Going through some management changes. Lots of seats for the size of bar. Prices are fair. Could use a decent pool cue or six, all of the ques were in horrible condition. The table was dirty too. But....pool was free too, so what can you expect. Nice bartenders. Check out Adrianna on Mondays and Thursdays I thinks.“

“The staff here is amazing, most of them have been here 10 plus years if not more, the beer selection is great but the food is CHEF'S KISS, the asada torta is to die for, as well as the taquitos/asada fries. it is actual mexican food made to order, just like your abuelita would make it at home. I could make that asada torta my last meal honestly and die happy.“

The ower is a great man running the restaurant mainly by himself and he deserves your patronage. I hope he gets a better location one day because I firmly believe the only reason he's not always busy with line stretching out the door is due to the area. I can't wait to go again and try the other sushi rolls and alcohol he has to offer“

“I haven't been in the Red lantern since 1967 when Virgil owned it with his boyfriend Rick, I remember when they tore down the wall that was connected to the liquor store and put in dance floor, I help them set up the first sound system I was the very first DJ there. I really miss that place I had a lot of good times there if you know what I mean!!! Inside outside haha on the patio. I was looking to see if the express still existed but I didn't see it but I heard there's a new bar called the splash, I don't know if that's where Express used to be or not but it looks like Fresno's really growing up for our gay community I was the first cook in the restaurant at Express, yeah Fresno has some good times for me I hope to come back and visit again soon anyway president love you miss you dance on party like it's 1999 LOL oh yes the last song I used to play at the lantern when I was DJing was we are family and that will never change God bless Fresno!!!“

“I've been coming to Ewells for the last year, on and off. Tried other bars but NOTHING compares to Ewells. The bartenders "Bri" "Baby" and "Seven" are AMAZING. They are quick and make delicious shooters! Really friendly too. Alex the security guard is efficient and keeps us all safe. Highly recommend this bar to anyone looking for a fun time.

“I have gone here to vibez numerous times for the nightlife but my girlfriends and I wanted to dress up and get cute for a Sunday brunch. After being disappointed by another lounge we called here and they let us know it was $35 per ticket for buffet style food and drinks. Needless to say we had a blast!! It was $35 for non alcoholic ticket and $50 for bottomless mimosas ticket. I get hesitant at buffet style foods but the food here for brunch was AMAZING! Definitely worth the money and anytime there was an empty tray the staff was already working on refilling the food. We also got a pitcher of bottomless mimosas which was nice just to have at our table. The staff was also incredibly friendly and talked to us while also checking in on our food and drinks. 10/10 brunch experience hands down!!! Will be coming back with more friends next time!“
