“I first visited The Brig in 2021. I went there with my girlfriend at the time and some of her female friends. I liked the inside because, having lived in the South Bay Area for eight years I'm used to the dive bar look. The doorman greeted me and was nice. The bartenders were friendly. It was clean and the atmosphere was a mix of laid back chill and wild energy. The people were nice. My girl informed me The Brig has a reputation for being a "meat market", which was true because The Brigg has A LOT of attractive women come through there always on the prowl. I had a few women stroll by my table openly flirt with when my girl wasn't around, took it as a compliment. Overall, I loved it there and go again and again.“
“This place is right in the hood, with plenty of sketchy people outside in the parking lot. Aside from that, I went in to check it out anyway. I was greeted by the bartender, Shorty. She was a shorty, but with unbelievable positive energy. Only one other guy in the bar drinking, but took a seat and ordered a beer. I chatted it up with that guy and Shorty; they were pretty funny, and cool. The a/c was kicking. Hell yeah! That was a big plus. I bought a drink for my new friends and cut my night short. I had other places to visit. Headed out to the parking lot, where the SketchFest was . Got back in my rental car, and off I went, to my next stop. I will be back!“
“One of the best customers service from Elsa. I asked for a modelo sandia lol and she made it happen. Also bacon wrapped shrimp was super bomb. I will definitely be coming back. One of my favorite restaurants forsure!! It was my first time coming here!!“
“I went to this bar this Friday (03/24/2023) for the karaoke. It was really fun. They allowed me to sing a few songs. Other singers were pretty good too. The music is not too loud, so you can still have a conversation. They have pool tables, darts, and awesome bartenders. Also, everybody is friendly, and looking for a good time. Everybody dresses causal, which made me feel awkward ‘cause I was wearing a suit. I am definitely going back. I loved this place.“
“I've been coming to Ewells for the last year, on and off. Tried other bars but NOTHING compares to Ewells. The bartenders "Bri" "Baby" and "Seven" are AMAZING. They are quick and make delicious shooters! Really friendly too. Alex the security guard is efficient and keeps us all safe. Highly recommend this bar to anyone looking for a fun time.Parking: Plenty of free parking in a parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: You can roll right in!“
“When we first got here at the door the guy basically racially profiled me cause I pulled out my Mexican passport which btw I got in Texas where I have lived for 2 decades and he asked me if I had a American passport or ID which I told him no I don’t not on me and that’s basically what I use at any bar or club I try to get into and then he notices it’s a passport which he was like oh okay you are fine and by the way he did not stamp my hand but he did stamp my fiancés and our uncles hands that kind of ruined my night to which is why I am giving a one star on service because that is just ridiculous if you are gonna be a bouncer/security please know what you are doing but other than that it was so amazing inside with all the stuff they had around they had a live band playing it was super packed because it was a Friday night I loved how the patio had the heaters outside cause it was a bit chilly don’t think I would be back because of that bouncer we literally just had one drink and left after that“
