“Husband and I came 3 years ago and loved the table with window view and we brought my family this year . I will say the steak had less seasoning and can use more cooking on the fat caps and the menu changed no more bacon scallops was a little sad but the salad, veggies and mashed potatoes were so good, my husband did say he didn’t really like the soup before the meal so he didn’t finish it.“

“Just finished my birthday dinner at Mountain Oaks Cafe in Oakhurst and WOW… highly recommend! The four girls, my husband, and I all ordered something different, and every single plate was absolutely packed with flavor. Hands down the best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had from a restaurant. The pull-apart ribs were perfectly tender and full of flavor, and the tri-tip was smoked to perfection. the youngest was completely lost in her pizza — which honestly looked amazing — and every bite around the table got rave reviews. The portions were huge too… we’re all heading home with lunch for tomorrow! If you’re anywhere near Oakhurst, do yourself a favor and check out Mountain Oaks Cafe. Great food, great portions, and a perfect birthday dinner. We’ll definitely be back!“

The staff were all very friendly and attentive to our needs. We don’t get much chance to dine at true 5 star experience and this Chef and staff enticed us to return very soon!“

“They have the best steaks in the Valley so delicious and prepared just the way you asked them too so tasty so soft the bake potatoe is amazing the salad is fresh and crispy 😋 I give it a five star 🌟 over all it's an amazing place to enjoy a family gathering or to celebrate a special day with family and enjoy the casino 🎰 it's very spacious and very beautiful I always seem to do good when we go to the casinos floor after having a great dinner ,I always order the bone on Rib so delicious and don't forget the sweet dessert chocolate cake so rich and delicious“

“on a 10000 mile cross country trip and 1st time in Yosemite, staying at the Sierra Sky Ranch. they recommended SGB for lunch, and it did not disappoint. our hardest task was deciding what to choose as there were so many delicious items to choose from we decided on two different burgers and shared. both were delicious and cooked perfectly. the staff, energy, vibe and music were all fantastic. I would highly recommend SGB to all for a great meal and beer.“

“I honestly was not expecting much since its in such a small town but this was really good pizza. The crust had that perfect chewy crisp thing going on, and the toppings were super fresh. Its a solid spot if youre driving through or just want something better than frozen. I would totally go back next time im up that way“

“The food was delicious! I had the filet mignon beef Wellington and my husband had the crusted salmon. Both dishes came with sides and desserts included and it looked amazing and was absolutely delicious. The price per plate, only $55., that’s a bargain these days. The atmosphere of old times mountain house was cozy and comfortable. We were seated in front of the fire place. We’ll definitely be eating there again soon.“
