“Just finished my birthday dinner at Mountain Oaks Cafe in Oakhurst and WOW… highly recommend! The four girls, my husband, and I all ordered something different, and every single plate was absolutely packed with flavor. Hands down the best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had from a restaurant. The pull-apart ribs were perfectly tender and full of flavor, and the tri-tip was smoked to perfection. the youngest was completely lost in her pizza — which honestly looked amazing — and every bite around the table got rave reviews. The portions were huge too… we’re all heading home with lunch for tomorrow! If you’re anywhere near Oakhurst, do yourself a favor and check out Mountain Oaks Cafe. Great food, great portions, and a perfect birthday dinner. We’ll definitely be back!“

“on a 10000 mile cross country trip and 1st time in Yosemite, staying at the Sierra Sky Ranch. they recommended SGB for lunch, and it did not disappoint. our hardest task was deciding what to choose as there were so many delicious items to choose from we decided on two different burgers and shared. both were delicious and cooked perfectly. the staff, energy, vibe and music were all fantastic. I would highly recommend SGB to all for a great meal and beer.“

“After a full day of hiking, we arrived in Oakhurst late and were looking for a place that stayed open. Our hotel recommended this pizza spot, and we honestly didn’t expect much — but it completely surprised us. The cauliflower crust pizza was amazing, loaded with vegetables like artichokes, bell peppers, and mushrooms. The crust was perfectly crunchy and felt like a healthier option without sacrificing flavor. We also tried the margherita pizza, which was delicious as well. Even at 9:30 PM, the salad bar was fresh and well stocked, which was a great surprise. A perfect late-night stop after a long day outdoors.“

“We stumbled upon this restaurant while traveling to Yosemite, and I'm so grateful we did. I had fallen ill during our trip, and the fresh, nourishing soup was exactly what I needed. It truly helped both my partner and me feel better.
We ended up returning for every meal during our stay, the food was consistently delicious, made with fresh ingredients, and the service was wonderfully attentive. We're so thankful to the staff for taking such good care of us during a difficult moment in our trip.

“This place is/was short staffed, but our server was working fast and furious, and he was very efficient. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant and giving them your business. The food was fresh, the coffee was shot, and the fruit cup was tasty.“

“The pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The rest of the Super Slams and hamburger were good too. Got a Jr Birthday pancakes and bacon for my son who wanted the special toppings and ate it all. Compared to the food at our Yosemite luxury hotel, it was a bargain.

Shout out to our server, Jamie, who was very nice to our autistic son. Maybe we wanted the extra time to select from the menu, but we did not find the service to be particularly slow or inattentive to us.“
