“on a 10000 mile cross country trip and 1st time in Yosemite, staying at the Sierra Sky Ranch. they recommended SGB for lunch, and it did not disappoint. our hardest task was deciding what to choose as there were so many delicious items to choose from we decided on two different burgers and shared. both were delicious and cooked perfectly. the staff, energy, vibe and music were all fantastic. “I highly recommend Idle Hour winery and kitchen in Oakhurst. I found out about the winery when looking for a place to eat in the area on the Internet and I’m so glad I did. It was one of my more memorable meals. I had one of their wines, which was outstanding with a salmon dinner accompanied by a very large salad. I usually don’t have dessert, but, being gluten-free, I decided to try their flourless chocolate cake. I’ve never had one I’ve particularly liked, but I doubt that I will be able to resist that dessert the next time I go for dinner, although I will have to try their Sunday brunch next.“

-Adorable decor inside restaurant. It felt lived in, reminded me of going to a family’s home for dinner. Lots of cute drawings and colorings all over, especially at the front where you get your table. (Saw it for a second, but I’m pretty sure there were a couple awesome Chainsaw Man drawings.) Other than that, the decor was mostly elegant.
-Staff are friendly and agreeable, but had a slight language problem (emphasis on slight, easily manageable).“

“The pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The rest of the Super Slams and hamburger were good too. Got a Jr Birthday pancakes and bacon for my son who wanted the special toppings and ate it all. Compared to the food at our Yosemite luxury hotel, it was a bargain.

Shout out to our server, Jamie, who was very nice to our autistic son. Maybe we wanted the extra time to select from the menu, but we did not find the service to be particularly slow or inattentive to us.“
