Had to have blind faith and they came out beautifully. Thank you Laura! The total came out to only $116, including $50 delivery fee to North Fork (30 min away). Very very pleased with the price and thankful she was able and willing to drive an hour (round trip) to deliver them.“
“A fun touch of class brought to the mountain community! Exquisite wines for the experienced palette yet approachable for the beginner taster. Colette was knowledgeable on varietals and had plenty of food recommendations to pair. Very welcoming atmosphere with the live band playing in the large area across from the bar. Lots of options to take home as well that you wouldn't find in the grocery store, without the gamble! Everything is delicious! The friendliest pup to greet you at the door as well, definitely bringing my dogs next time!“
“If you ever stop by Oakhurst, do yourself a favour and stop by!The staff (all of them) were extremely nice and friendly.The coffee is LOVELY, coming from someone who loves coffee and has been drinking coffee from all over the world. It’s extremely easy to drink, even if you don’t particularly enjoy coffee. It’s well roasted, and has a robust nutty flavour.We got the breakfast burrito (chili verde) and “The Cloud” toast. Both were exceptionally amazing, and I’m not lying when I say the burrito literally blew my mind.Just something to note, there aren’t a lot of seats inside. There are outdoor seats, but in the winter we chose to have it to go and everything was still great. Would def come by again if we were in the area!“
“Very rustic setting but also very authentic. It was clear that the local tribe was running this food stand. Nice collection of homemade salsas and jellies for sale as well.Prices are very good and the preparation is to order.Overall everything we ordered was tasty and good portion sized. The only thing missing was some salt and a lot of salsa. With all the jarred salsas for sale at the stand, I would have thought that they'd have one or two open for customers to use on their food. It needed a good dose of "zing".“
“The Elderberry House is such a fabulous restaurant in the greater Fresno area. In less than a hour's drive, you really feel like you're transported somewhere else when you're here - the grounds are so well manicured and have the stylings of an Italian villa! You really feel like you're in a different country! The service is absolutely incredible - personalized menus with consideration for dietary restrictions, non-pretentious and accessible service, and engaging staff all make it an incredible experience! The food is the best. The BEST! Everything is presented to beautifully and the wine pairings just make everything taste that much better! If the weather is nice, it's wonderful to take your dessert out on the patio and enjoy the outdoor scenery and lights. This place is my go to when I want to feel spoiled and indulgent, with without feeling like I need to look or act a certain way to be treated well. No snobbery, just good service and great food!“
“We have been anticipating a visit and dining experience for several years. The dining room is well appointed and the service by the bar tender (before dinner drinks), sommelier, and wait staff was very engaging, attentive, and with perfect timing. I have one opinion and one disappointment. OPINION; We ordered the wine pairing for both meals ($140) and felt a full bottle of wine would have been a better choice based on the portions we received for the pairing service. DISAPPOINTMENT; At the bottom of the menu in very very small print (4pt?) was stated a 22% service charge is added. Both my wife and I missed this aspect of the menu. I have two comments on this; for a restaurant of this caliber and amount of service charge, valet parking should be offered. It was raining the night we dined and self parking was not the way we wanted to go. When the bill was delivered, there was no mention of the included 22% service charge. Not hearing this and not seeing the minuscule print at the bottom of the menu, I added a tip of 20% which was on top of the already included 22% tip. The wait person never made reference to my mistake. Had my wife not suggested for me to double check the bill, I would have left a tip of 42% on almost a $400.00 bill. You do the math. Fortunately, we found the mistake before leaving and the bill was amended as requested.“

“This place is amazing! The customer service is the best in the mountains. Food has healthy options and dining area is always clean and comfortable. Warm in winter and cool in summer! Also one of my favorite parts is they have an outdoor sitting area if you bring your pets, one of the very few places up here that has that option.“
“Honestly the best Mexican food we have up here in Oakhurst don’t go anywhere else the burritos are big the tacos are to die for delicious! Everything I’ve had is amazing in flavor and the people who work there are just awesome! “This place is a hidden gem. We are from out of town and stopped here for breakfast and we’re not disappointed. The menu is full of healthy options and the smoothie menu and food menu is extensive. We wish we would have found this place on our first day in town because we definitely would have returned. We tried the sausage breakfast sandwich on ciabatta with Cajun sauce and it was SO good. We also tried two smoothies which were equally as good. Service was good. We were promptly greeted and told how to order. “We went to Tandoori Express on a recent trip to Yosemite. We got to the restaurant only about 20m before closing, but they were gracious enough to seat our party of five and served us pretty quickly. We had naan, vegetable samosas, chicken biryani, fish saag, chicken roan curry, and tandoori shrimp. Everyone agreed it was all delicious, and left stuft. The staff was very friendly and we highly recommend it if you are in the area.“
“Small winery on the way to Yosemite's south side entrance. We stopped here after a brief visit to the nearby Bass Lake for their wine tasting. The wine selection was good (favorite was the red blend) but the charcuterie board was absolutely amazing (the blue cheese they serve + jam was delicious - and this is coming from someone who typically doesn't like blue cheese). Staff were super friendly and they allow dogs inside which is fantastic on a cold day. Definitely stop by for a sip and a bite.“
