“Friendly place- we arrived the minutes before they closed for their lunch but they never rushed us. The BEST vegan pho! Thin sliced tofu, bok Choy and mushrooms were beautifully arranged over noodles and tasty veggie broth. THE food came out quickly- and we ate quickly only because it was so good! They also had options for vegan boba drinks- nice seating outside, dog-friendly. And owner was super kind. Something I appreciated was the (homemade) chili powder, and and the creative toppings in the pho (instead of just tofu cubes or fake meat). “Okay now all I can say, is that I ordered the three enchiladas dinner combo they had advertised for 13.77 and it included rice, beans, and an iced drink. We ordered to go and I went back to that to-go container three times even though I was full after the first visit... that delicious enchilada smell kept me going back until I finished it. If I go back to Mammoth Mountain I'm eating at this place again absolutely no question about it. I paid 15 dollars for a meal I'll remember for years to come...“

“Best grilled ? ? I have ever had. If you ever on the right side of the mountain this spot is a must to try. BTW the runs on the left side are the best. You can pick a lot speed. Then get to the bottom of the mountain and enjoy a ? with a cold ?. If you are super cold or super hungry as for the combo soup for $7 dollars more. There is not inside sitting, but place is worth the sunburn lol“

“Large portion of guacamole. Also had 3 steak tacos with rice and beans. Definitely a 2nd meal for me. Served with lime wedges. Very good. I missed the part to let me know there were lots of raw onion on the tacos. So picky me I took them off, but loved the cilantro.“

Wendy the cashier (“like Peter Pan and hamburgers” as she introduces herself) is a national treasure. Her attentiveness and impeccable humor made our experience thoroughly enjoyable. She had warmly welcomed us at breakfast when we stayed here last year, and we were so glad to enjoy her hospitality this time around too.

All the staff we interacted with were super friendly and helpful. Make sure to get in line early in the summer before it gets long; and when the line does get long, more hikers should show the staff the patience and respect they deserve.“

“This restaurant is located on the second floor inside Monmouth Mountain In, which makes is convenient and one of very few dining options in the area. Restaurant is beautiful, well maintained and offers plenty of seating. Service is good and staff is very friendly. Food, however, could be better considering a price tag of $32-$48 per main dish. Both the salmon and fingerling potatoes were very greasy; short rib fries appetizer is just chunks of meat on top of fries with a bit of marinated onions of squirts of mayo; rosemary airline chicken breast is tiny and dry and mashed potatoes don’t have much flavor at all.“
