They open at 7 am for breakfast during summer
Can only speak to the ice cream but holy crap - a single scoop is about a pint of ice cream. Treat yo self after your hike.
I may be biased for having hiked in the wilderness for days before, but oh boy they make the best cheeseburger I’ve had in my life!
Wendy the cashier (“like Peter Pan and hamburgers” as she introduces herself) is a national treasure. Her attentiveness and impeccable humor made our experience thoroughly enjoyable. She had warmly welcomed us at breakfast when we stayed here last year, and we were so glad to enjoy her hospitality this time around too.
