up here for the margarita festival in Mammoth and Gomez was very yummy with the Amos Broso tequila
My wife and I stopped in for an appetizer and some drinks. My blended mango margarita was refreshing and tasty but my wife’s blended house margarita lacked flavor. We ultimately didn’t drink it and after asking for a refund the manager took the item off our bill. The nachos grande with shredded chicken was fresh and delicious and our waitress was friendly and accommodating.

Gomez Mexican Restaurant has been visited multiple times over the last few years. Service has always been great, and the food and drinks are delicious. The chips and salsa are really good, with tasty enchiladas and birria that have flavor. The green sauce on the enchiladas is really good. The Chili Relleno with Shrimp has perfectly melted cheese, and the Cadillac Escalade Margarita is just the right balance. Some of the most tender steak is available, with the asada plate, cheese quesadilla, and azteca soup all earning five stars. The bar is gorgeous with lots of seating inside and out. It can definitely get busy at times, especially with larger parties. The vegan option includes can fajitas with portobello mushrooms. Everything in mammoth is expensive, but this place is delicious and highly recommended.
