“After a day at Yosemite we had dinner here and ordered the burger with cheese and the chicken wings.Chicken wings were very good - both in taste and quantity! Burger was a classic American burger nothing too fancy but good!Prices were absolutely ok given the location close to Yosemite and the lack of food options in this area.In my opinion the place was charming - has some American bar / dinner vibes with a pool table in the middle of the place and a music box.Service was good and quick!“
“We were pleasantly surprised by the service, hospitality, menu and delicious food. We were returning after a long day in Yosemite that ended with a hike to the top of Vernal Falls that took longer than we expected during a heat wave, 102 degrees. We wanted to get back before the 8:30 PM closing, but a very slow driver in front of us slowed our progress back. We were a couple minutes late and pleaded and the restaurant kindly let us in. Our party included 3 generations. Everyone was happy with their dinner, which included 2 orders of spareribs, chicken Marsala and Ahi on a bed of seaweed. Desserts we ordered were NY raspberry cheesecake, chocolate cake, and boysenberry tart a la mode. Many other choices. Experience exceeded our expectations!“
“We truly enjoyed our Yosemite family getaway here. No TV’s in the room, but you don’t need them with all the family fun activities throughout the resort. The Spa was family friendly, and was one of the favorite things we did as a family (voted by my kids and husband). Resort is super close to the Yosemite Entrance, we experienced no lines getting in. Rooms and overall resort is very well kept, nice and clean. Overall, we’d stay again.“
“If you’re staying in Wawona to get to Yosemite, the town is so small you really just have this hotel restaurant and a local deli/convenience store to choose from for prepared food. Luckily, Wawona Hotel is a beautiful historic building that serves decent food for the price. The dining room is lovely but waits are long so reservations are recommended. Staff is helpful.We swung by for takeout - had to wait a little bit but we were comfortable. The burger and fries were surprisingly really good - burger was tender, fries crispy yet fluffy inside. And prices weren’t outrageous. Great pit stop to replenish your energy!“
“Stayed at the Yosemite view lodge about 10 minutes away and food is pretty limited in the area. We decided to try out this restaurant which is located at another hotel, and the food was great for the price. Our bartender Sandy was wonderful! You can learn all about the history of the area and the restaurant.We had the california melt and chicken tenders with onion rings. Please check them out if you’re in the area and hungry!“
