“Thanks to Yelp i found a cute, outdoor breakfast spot that specializes in crepes! I wanted something quick, before we hit the slopes and this place was just right. We got lucky with the warm (-ish) sunny day and since the sitting is outdoors only it was perfect breakfast with fresh mountain air and snow all around us. The menu has savory and sweet crepes and i appreciated that they also use buckwheat flour, which goes well with savory fillings. Customer service was friendly and our crepes came out pretty fast. I took off one star because i paid extra for an egg to be added to my crepe and didn't see or taste any? Another suggestion, add avocado and tomatoes to your list of Add On ingredients. We will be back again next time we are in Mammoth Lakes.“
“We are picky about coffee. So many bitter and really acidic coffees get sold that I think are just undrinkable. My go-to has been Peet's Major Dickasons. I absolutely love Mammoth Coffee's "Into the Woods" blend. It is so delicious and smooth. I definitely am willing to try more out from them.“
“Espresso is great here! Food is very limited to waffles and muffins so don’t come here if you’re looking for a big breakfast. No egg burritos or egg muffins or eggs etc. highly recommend for espresso. The place could use to be refurbished not great seating and decorations but for cofffee it’s fine. Besides that haven’t tried it for wine“
“For many years, long before it was called the outpost, I've enjoyed outdoor lunch at the bottom of Chair 14. Very relaxing and laid back, it is a great place for a rest and to soak up some sun while taking a break from the skiing. A warm sunny day and low wind is a must as there is no wind break or inside seating. There are ample and clean restrooms available, and like all places in Mammoth free water. They've added a take out bar and the take out food stop keeps changing the name, it is currently called the Melt House, but the food is always good. You can bring your own food and drinks and just relax at the picnic tables. I've never seen it so crowded that you couldn't find somewhere to sit, and most people don't mind sharing their table with you. The have added a fire place in the last couple of years but that is usually crowded. Since it is far away from the Main Lodge, it is rarely crowded and it does feel like you are getting away from it all.“
“The Mill is a great stop to get a bite to eat or have a drink at their bar . I enjoy sitting by the fire pit and enjoying my margarita with a view. I'm not gonna elaborate of prices of the food on the mountain ($$$) because you really don't have many choices. On some of the weekends when we came here there is a dj spinning, which adds to the atmosphere.“
“Amazing coffee shop in Mammoth village. Opens earlier than most at 6am. Grab and go warm breakfast options can also be made to order, made vegetarian etc and are super wholesome. Muffins and cookies and especially bread pudding for sweet treats. Happy hour deal on drip if you bring your own mug!“
“So nice to stop by this super cute coffee shop before our afternoon activities. The shop interior is cozy, cute and clean. Their drinks are nice and delicious. The service is helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend you come by to sip on a good coffee when you are in town.“
