“The Mountain Lodge is a beautiful restaurant. The service was excellent, we especially enjoyed talking to our waiter and the waiter assistant about their experience living at Yosemite. The prices were reasonable. The food was 3* because the chicken was dry, not enough sauce came with it and the sauce was just ok. Could have used more veggies too. The only item that seemed pricey is for bread at $8. I would go back and try another dish on the menu.”

“First time staying at Curry Village (tent cabin for 4). We had a nice time. Reviews are correct about hearing everything from neighboring tents, but we were so tired we fell asleep without problem. For all of the different food options the dining hall roasted chicken was the best. Real mashed potatoes, chicken was well seasoned and cooked (not dry). Definitely least processed option.”

“Decent subs, basic food and some party items.
It's hard to get really good food at a lot of places in the park that have quick serve. This place had some nicer subs and food. Menu wasn't big but quality was good.
The line here can grow quickly and service can be slower. Was a little confusing because when we got our food the register was closed and there weren't any notes or signs. Went over to ice cream counter and they said we could pay there. They should have had a sign stating that at register because I imagine some people probably just walked out.
Guys in kitchen were friendly and working really hard. Getting your order was a little disorganized.
Next time we hike in the valley we will definitely stop in again for a quick and good lunch.”

“A bit outdated … but that’s the charm! Great family/large group stay. Basecamp cafeteria perfect for quick sandwiches or full meal. Centralized in the Valley. Highly recommend.”

“We had dinner here. Everything was great. We had the lamb, chicken Alfredo and the mushroom bread. It was a little pricey but overall great tasting and the service was top notch.”

“Great bar staff! Made us some great, cold, Palomas over the past couple nights. Didn’t eat anything except the salad and it’s great and HUGE.”
“This place is a very modest food stand. But it perfectly reflects its location and really delivers on your favorite American fast food. We had the cheeseburgers and they were great. I loved the fact that you can add as much sriracha and mayo (not to mention ketchup and mustard) as you want. Their fries were seasoned wedges. Delicious. They also have milk shakes and soft serve. You can imagine how delighted PCT hikers are when then come here!
The staff is young and friendly. They seem to know a lot of their customers.
There are no seats indoors, but lots of tables outside. Great place to meet PCT hikers.
All in all, they delivered on both the food and the vibe.”

“Went for breakfast the Tuesday after Labor Day. We'd stayed in Curry Village and were about to hike Vernal and Nevada falls, so this was convenient. The dining pavilion opens at 7am for breakfast and they serve some nice hot options. I had the burrito and my friend had the pancakes. It was all good. They have nice clean spacious restrooms right at the entrance. There are water refill stations both inside, and there's one with good flow right outside the gift shop / grocery store. Also pretty nice views outside in the morning light.”

“Food is decent, prices are pretty reasonable. We both got pulled pork sandwiches and they hit the spot. Don't expect top notch food and you won't be disappointed, especially if you're starving after a long hike like we were. Service is quick, we got our food in minutes. The cashier was courteous and professional. There was a long line but it was moving fast. Lots of tables outside. Very convenient location in the center of Yosemite village.”

Don’t expect too much — sometimes, being warm, full, and surrounded by nature is already more than enough 😌✨”

“Stopped by the bar to have a drink after a hike. We didn’t leave for 3hours. Staff was great and so were the drinks. Atmosphere was relaxing and warm. Food was good and a step up from normal. All in all a great place to stop.”

“We got lunch here and it was one of the best meals of our trip! The staff was very attentive and kind. They brought us a complimentary cupcake for our anniversary, but the other desserts also looked too good to resist.”

“Tried the Super Chicken Burrito Bowl and the Kids’ Cheese Quesadilla. The quesadilla was really good, but the Super Chicken Burrito Bowl was just average in taste. Overall, it’s a convenient spot for a quick meal while visiting Yosemite Valley.”
“There was a long line when we went but the service was great. We waited less than 5 minutes. I like my Pecan crunch oatmeal latte. The staff were really friendly.”

“We had a nice meal. I had the prime rib and my husband had the filet. The food was good, but not exceptional. The atmosphere was nice, but I was expecting better views. We would dine here again if we were in the area.”
“Pray it doesn't snow the day (or week) you decide to visit. If it does, they will likely shutdown the mountain. Aramark's takeover has completely eliminated the greatness that Badger Pass once was. Nothing more than a greedy corporation whose motivation is centered only on making money. They have turned a central valley gem into an embarrassment.”

“THIS PLACE IS WORTH THE HYPE!!
Yes, the wait will be about an hour from getting in line till you get your food, but after a long day of NP adventures it absolutely hits the spot! The pizza is fresh with quality toppings and great portions. All the camp atmosphere is fantastic with everyone in high spirits having a good time.”
