“Had a business meeting with 5 employees and the food and atmosphere were perfect. There were vegetarian options for one of my coworkers and all parties said their meals were great.”

“We had dinner at The Mountain Room Lounge during our February visit to Yosemite. After a full day of hiking, it was so refreshing to go back to our room at the lodge to shower, then take a short stroll to dinner. The menu was short and sweet, but soooo good. I tried the El Capitan cocktail and fell in love. The Beast Chili was incredibly hearty, and if the bourbon in my drink hadn’t warmed me up from our hike, this chili did. For dinner I had the chicken thigh confit sandwich and loved it. The pickled carrots were like candy!
Our server was incredibly sweet, very attentive, and he went above and beyond when my travel companion had a misunderstanding when ordering the special of the evening. What a pleasant dude!!
The environment was PERFECT. I enjoyed how cozy it felt at our table. I’d have loved if the fire had been going, but it would likely have been too warm in there after, so no matter truly.
What a lovely surprise in the middle of a national park. I’ll be back for sure!”

“Found this late after overpaying for food in the gift shop which is in the front of the building.
They have different choices each day and prices were not bad for what you get. The food was actually pretty good, but that could have been we were just back from a day of hiking and were starving?
Staff are mostly friendly, we did get a older guy on the last day that didn't seen to be enjoying his job, but the younger staff were all friendly and willing to chat when they weren't busy, they are a great resource for pointers and suggestions on places to see while there.”

“Decent subs, basic food and some party items.
It's hard to get really good food at a lot of places in the park that have quick serve. This place had some nicer subs and food. Menu wasn't big but quality was good.
The line here can grow quickly and service can be slower. Was a little confusing because when we got our food the register was closed and there weren't any notes or signs. Went over to ice cream counter and they said we could pay there. They should have had a sign stating that at register because I imagine some people probably just walked out.
Guys in kitchen were friendly and working really hard. Getting your order was a little disorganized.
Next time we hike in the valley we will definitely stop in again for a quick and good lunch.”

“A bit outdated … but that’s the charm! Great family/large group stay. Basecamp cafeteria perfect for quick sandwiches or full meal. Centralized in the Valley. Highly recommend.”

“I can understand why some reviews are frustrated but we had a fantastic time. If the park is busy, it will be busy and slow here as well. That said our bartender was amazing, quick, and attentive. The chicken sandwich and Blondie were above average but not spectacular, every mixed drink we had was above average. A little expensive for what you get but it's in line with being in a big city or theme park. All in all good find... And the bar is a good place to get away from kids.”

“Went for breakfast the Tuesday after Labor Day. We'd stayed in Curry Village and were about to hike Vernal and Nevada falls, so this was convenient. The dining pavilion opens at 7am for breakfast and they serve some nice hot options. I had the burrito and my friend had the pancakes. It was all good. They have nice clean spacious restrooms right at the entrance. There are water refill stations both inside, and there's one with good flow right outside the gift shop / grocery store. Also pretty nice views outside in the morning light.”

“Food is decent, prices are pretty reasonable. We both got pulled pork sandwiches and they hit the spot. Don't expect top notch food and you won't be disappointed, especially if you're starving after a long hike like we were. Service is quick, we got our food in minutes. The cashier was courteous and professional. There was a long line but it was moving fast. Lots of tables outside. Very convenient location in the center of Yosemite village.”

“Mountain dining comes with a different mindset ⛰️🍽️
Don’t expect too much — sometimes, being warm, full, and surrounded by nature is already more than enough 😌✨”

“Of the food options available in the valley, the Aheahnee Bar isn't bad. Food was marginal, drinks were good, service was great. The Mezze plate was unremarkable, it's hummus unrecognizable but not terrible. The Grilled Halloumi Cheese and Tomatoes was bland. The Antipasto salad was good. If you want a quiet palace to sit for a while, this is not a bad option.”

“Yummy food great views wonderful service great location amazing place amazing vibe
We went there for brunch around 11, they had a buffet, 75$ per person, we ate so much we didn’t eat anything the whole day
High quality fruit and food, everything was perfect.”
“There was a long line when we went but the service was great. We waited less than 5 minutes. I like my Pecan crunch oatmeal latte. The staff were really friendly.”

“Base Camp Eatery at the Yosemite Lodge has something for everyone. They have ordering kiosks when you walk in or you can order directly from each food type area. There are many vegetarian options including burgers, Latin food, Asian food, pasta. salads, and more. It's a cafeteria style motif with vast seating areas inside and also deck seating outside. They serve breakfast until 10:30 am and then lunch and dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. we ordered spicy black bean burger combinations with fries and a salad. The food was all fresh, flavorful and tasty. I highly recommend this spot for your Yosemite dining.”
“Pray it doesn't snow the day (or week) you decide to visit. If it does, they will likely shutdown the mountain. Aramark's takeover has completely eliminated the greatness that Badger Pass once was. Nothing more than a greedy corporation whose motivation is centered only on making money. They have turned a central valley gem into an embarrassment.”

“Pizza is great! Just giving 4 stars because of the worst cashier I ever seen. This blond woman with a black eye was grumpy and treating all the costumers so bad!”
