“We have enjoyed this lounge on two different trips to Yosemite Lodge with a nice atmosphere and friendly service. However, the 2026 visit was a little disappointing with an odd menu, marginal food quality , and no fire in the fire pit. Bring back the pub menu! 86 the Brie and confit! Gimme a burger.”

“Found this late after overpaying for food in the gift shop which is in the front of the building.

They have different choices each day and prices were not bad for what you get. The food was actually pretty good, but that could have been we were just back from a day of hiking and were starving?

Staff are mostly friendly, we did get a older guy on the last day that didn't seen to be enjoying his job, but the younger staff were all friendly and willing to chat when they weren't busy, they are a great resource for pointers and suggestions on places to see while there.”

“We were so grateful to have lunch here between our Yosemite adventures. I really enjoyed my Pastrami on Rye and my wife really enjoyed her Salmon sandwich.

The soda was a bit flat but the customer service was excellent and the staff started immediately working on fixing the soda machine as soon as I told them.

And of course, eating at the tables outside provides a wonderful atmosphere. Just be sure to follow the signs and NOT feed the birds / wildlife.”

“After a long day of hiking, one of my favorite things is a good margarita and who would have thought I’d find a fantastic one right in Yosemite? 1899 Bar was such a pleasant surprise. The space is clean and modern, with a comfortable vibe that feels perfect after being out on the trails. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, which just added to the experience. Definitely a gem in the park! 🍹🌲”

“Went for breakfast the Tuesday after Labor Day. We'd stayed in Curry Village and were about to hike Vernal and Nevada falls, so this was convenient. The dining pavilion opens at 7am for breakfast and they serve some nice hot options. I had the burrito and my friend had the pancakes. It was all good. They have nice clean spacious restrooms right at the entrance. There are water refill stations both inside, and there's one with good flow right outside the gift shop / grocery store. Also pretty nice views outside in the morning light.”

“Honestly can’t fault the food or service. We went on a busy Friday and ordered the chicken tenders, pulled pork sandwich, onion rings and fries. We really enjoyed our food- it was hot, tenders were crispy and chicken moist. The fries and sandwich were also great. The onion rings were also really crisp and hot when we got them. It took less than 10 mins for food for 4 people to come out. Server was friendly and patient. Not to mention the food was really reasonably priced especially considering where you are. Will be visiting again.”

“Peet's coffee in Yosemite hits 10x harder. It was amazing. Enjoy your hot coffee in the morning before setting out to hike. Super thankful and appreciate the staff for handling all the long lines daily.”

“Had Valentine's dinner here. There was a pre-fix menu but our group chose the ala carte menu as there were many choices. The risotto was a little undercooked but the prime rib and salmon were delicious.”

“There was a long line when we went but the service was great. We waited less than 5 minutes. I like my Pecan crunch oatmeal latte. The staff were really friendly.”
