Best food in the valley for the price. Saw lots of valley staff eating here for lunch; always a good sign. We had sandwiches and soups; plenty of veggie options. The chili was a favorite. Lots of seating with great natural lighting, good for groups.
Degnan's is probably one of the better options in the park for food, but it still leaves a lot to be desired. Service is polite, and ordering from humans is a real treat (compared to the kiosks at the lodge), but the flow and ergonomics could definitely be better organized. The food is typical mid grade institutional cafeteria fodder, but it is at least assembled to-order. There's premade grab and go as well, but I didn't bother. Love this spot in the village for a quick and relatively inexpensive meal. During breakfast, biscuits & gravy and breakfast sandwiches are great and hearty. Chili during lunch was super hot and tasty. Not so bad food for being in the middle of nowhere.Parking: Parking can be difficult during peak times like weekends, holidays, and the entire summer.
