“Incredible people bringing Mariposa some of the best live music acts around. The Grove House is legit! Great food, drinks, atmosphere, and music. I’d give it 6 stars if I could!”
“Great Place for Lunch, YUMMY Food. Great employees, very nice place. Very reasonable. The owners are the kind of people you always wished to have in your life...Caring, Supportive, and Very Friendly”
“Found by accident on the Mariposa calendar of events. Decided to check it out for the pumpkin carving and try some cider. Pumpkins are reasonably priced and you can carve onsite. Service was excellent and the cider was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful in picking cider. Would highly recommend checking out this hidden gem!!”
“Food: Awesome! French Onion Soup was excellent, bread was great, chicken was delicious.Staff: Attentive! I was checked on frequently. The Only Con: The Music. I love jazz, but Elevator Jazz is not real jazz. Please, for the love of Brubeck, lose the Kenny G. It burns my ears....”
“To Carissa and all the amazing staff and people of Marisposa. Thank you. We came through on our honeymoon and quote frankly what a beautiful diamond in the middle of the mountains. The best desserts are the ones that come on fire.”
“This place is so much fun! We're from Merced & pass by on our way to Yosemite. I've been wanting to stop in for ages but it was the breakfast burritos sign that finally pulled my husband in. I wasn't sure what to expect but figured they probably sold lemonade & they do but there's so much more. They also have coffee, cocoa, Mexican street corn & fruit cups, other tasty treats, knickknacks & a carefully curated thrift store w/ clothes, shoes, accessories, more knickknacks, home decor & vintage toys. There's something for everyone. I look forward to making The Lemon Drop a place we'll regularly stop in when we're passing through. -Oh! & The breakfast burritos are amazing. They're made fresh, tasty & are a perfect fuel to start a day.”
“If in Mariposa and you do not really want to dine out but do not really want to cook, I highly recommend Mariposa take and bake. The pizzas are fantastic! The best pizza crust to date for us! Several choices on toppings. They also have great salads. The large size sald fed 4 of us. Great food and great price!”
“This place will make you say “mama!” Carnitas super burrito was super succulent, very perfectly cooked pork! Nachos were FULLY LOADED, very agreeable portion after a day of work. Get there!”
“Absolutely loved it here. We were just having a look around and got a very lovely complimentary wine tasting and some very useful information about the town and Yosemite. Thanks so much to the lovely lady for making our day.”
“This little sandwich place is really lovely. Super tasty and wholesome sandwiches made with scrumptious ingredients. A friendly, polite man running this place, thank you!”
“Good Authentic Mexican Restaurant the seasonings, herbs and toppings blend well together. My go to as always are nachos my only issue with this place is everytime I get nachos they’re very stingy with the meat. Everything else has a nice amount but the meat is sparse.”
“Visiting Mariposa/Yosemite with some girl friends and went to 1850 Restaurant & Brewery for our first night out! We were seated fairly promptly for a 5 top table with no reservation and the service was great! We got all of our food quick and in the perfect time sequence - drinks first, appetizer second (with time to finish and digest), and entrees shortly after we finished our appetizer. The decor was adorable, between the wine corks and sliding doors between 2 tables. The Ahi nachos were unreal! I highly recommend those - the ahi tuna felt and tasted fresh, and the ginger soy + wasabi ranch drizzle added so much sweet, spicy, and creamy flavor. The wonton nachos were also deliciously fried. The chicken salad was the perfect, light meal. The baked salmon was another good option, although i didn't love the sweetness of the fig dollop on top - the fig taste took over. The drinks we ordered were creative, fun, and tasted delicious. A little sweet, but can't complain too much about that. Great first night out in Mariposa!”
“This place is a slice of heaven. Not only are their drinks delicious, they have this hidden menu worth exploring. I recommend their tacos where their meat is smoked daily, their pizza whose crust is to die for and their company who are always welcoming and a good time. Check out this hidden spot for its vibe isn’t so hidden.”
“I've been stopping here for lunch for years on my out of Yosemite. They have numerous burger options.I love their mushroom burger. Instead of fries, I usually order onion rings. I keep forgetting to take pictures as I'm usually too hungry.”
“I love coming into there shop! Super clean, smells rich with coffee that is enhanced by the friendly staff and owners. Don't forget to surprise a coffee friend with the chocolate covered coffee beans!Parking: Easy in and out off Hwy 49.”
