The old wood, the bar setup, the vintage details — everything has that authentic Gold Rush–era feel you don’t often find anymore. Even with just a quick visit, this place made an impression. To say that I lucked out finding Cakewalk Heirloom Baking is an understatement! Jennifer not just saved the day but, she MADE the day. Not only making a custom cake just for us, she even delivered it to our hotel and left a sweet birthday card. Who does that?! “This is our go-to lunch spot as a local. The sandwiches are always so good, with the Turkey Pesto being the family favorite. Just recently, I tried their breakfast panini and would strongly recommend for any breakfast lover. It's nice just hanging in the building whether to eat or just enjoy your coffee. Also a nice relaxing spot if you need to sit and get some work done on your laptop.”
