“Great burgers”

“I had low expectations for unassuming roadside gas station BBQ but I was BLOWN AWAY. I had the pork ribs and they were about the best I've ever had in any state anywhere. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich, and we shared a side of cole slaw. We both just kept stopping mid-meal with our eyes closed, savoring. We're already planning to stop back on in our way home. Don't miss it!”

“Anytime I visit a new place I check out the barbecue joints and the breweries! I heard bear tent in Jamestown was really good, and so far no lies detected! A couple of hard to find beers like a Bock, ESB and a vanilla Porter right out of the gate, and all of them really good!🤘🏻”

“We stopped in late and had a wonderful meal. The carnitas plate was excellent. My wife who is Latina said her meal was wonderful.

We met Carmen who took care of us and was very kind and attentive. She has worked there 16 years taking care of customers.

“Had a small wedding 25 people. Ordered chicken and beef enchilada , and taco bar. Was outstanding and with plenty of the fixings. Major Amount of food for about $16 plate.”

“Proper & Plume recently started Friday Night Karaoke and it is such a hit! I have never seen it so busy. It was nice to see alot of the regulars from Flappy's Karaoke move over to Proper & Plume's karaoke night with their closing. I spent a few hours hanging out with friends, hearing people sing their favorite songs, they had a happy hour menu with specialty drinks & appetizers. Every one looked like they were having a great time, and people down below where all enjoying hearing the karaoke.”

“Very beautiful new casino. Rooms are beautiful and having balcony makes view great. Was a very hot day (7/22/2024) air condition great in club and our room perfect and comfortable. The only issue we had was the very heavy chairs at machines , and the lack of space for handicap . Very hard for wheel chairs and walkers to get to any machines in center of casino due to large chairs and no passing room. This would be an issue to correct so handicap can enjoy the whole club.”

“I drove by her place and THE GATE WAS OPEN!! went in and got to meet Peggy, she is a wonderful person and I can't wait to try the food. She wasn't going to open until after
labor day. , but it's after labor day NOW!!!. I am going to make a special trip down tomorrow!”

“I'm not a big coffee drinker but I treat myself to a mocha here once or twice a week. It's always good and the staff is very friendly. I would definitely patronize this place which is locally owned over a massive chain.”
