“Great burgers”

“Don't let the Mini Mart/gas station fool you, the eating area is behind the counter. We were pleasantly surprised at the delicious BBQ. We ordered the Texas Trinity which included brisket, ribs, and sausage. It came with 2 sides, coleslaw and baked beans along with 4 slices of bread, 2 spears of pickles, pickled red onions and bbq sauce on the side. It was so tender, juicy and flavorful which wasn't drowned in bbq sauce. This is our go-to bbq when we drive up from the Bay Area. The staff were also very friendly.”

“We arrived in Jamestown late in afternoon and decided to take a walk through a mostly-closed downtown. But you know what was open? Bear Tent! What a fantastic spot! They have a really nice selection of beers and ales (get a tasting flight!), indoor and outdoor seating, and an assortment of games for guests to play.”

“I stopped in to check out the new resort for the first time today. It is beautiful and so nice not to breathe in cigarette smoke. The air inside was fresh and the entire place was beautiful! i had a quick bite at the 209 sports bar. I had a Santa Fe Burge, sweet potato fries and a virgin bloody mary. The food was delicious, and the bloody mary was like a meal too! The views from this resort are Amazing! The bathrooms are constantly being cleaned, which I appreciate. parking was easy. a short walk. There are a few stairs, but i noticed a drop off area in the front. I highly recommend.”

“Service and atmosphere are on point. They have one of the best clam chowders I’ve had and I love clam chowder. It’s very chunky. Every bite has clams basin and potato in it. The pizza on the other hand needed to be cooked more. I ordered the bbq chicken and it was still soft and soggy in the middle. I also didn’t care for the cilantro on that pizza but that of course is a personal choice. I will be eating at 209 kitchen again and for sure the clam chowder again”

“I want to applaud the group that was working tonight on 4/30/2026. I’m a GM over 3 pizza franchise locations and watching the group get along and operate so well together in even a playful manner but getting work done very quickly and efficiently was great to watch. Their customer interactions were super friendly and any little mistake was owned quickly and resolved without hitch. I’d be proud to have them as a crew of my own except my locations are all about an hour and a half away or more LOL. Kudos to the manager and continue to “Live mas!””

“First of all the staff is top notch. Friendly and fast service. The pork belly eggs Benny was magically delicious. The pork melted like butter, and the hollandaise sauce was fabulous. I would drive the 18 hours from Canada just to eat here again. thank you for the great experience.”

This is a delightful place with a wonderful staff. Our sandwiches were delicious. Can’t wait to try their empanadas. This is a treasure in Sonora. We will be back. If you haven’t checked out Kobe Steak House yet, you are seriously missing out. It is one of those rare places that gets everything right: the food is awesome, the people are great, and you don’t have to empty your wallet to get a fantastic meal. Whether you go for a quick bite or a full dinner, they absolutely nail it every single time. It has quickly become one of my favorite go-to spots in town.
First off, the sushi here is incredible. Sometimes you go to a steakhouse and the sushi feels like a total afterthought, but that is definitely not the case here. The fish is always super fresh, tastes amazing, and looks great when it hits the table. Whether you like simple, traditional rolls or the massive specialty ones packed with unique flavors and sauces, you won't be disappointed. The chefs clearly know exactly what they are doing behind the counter. It’s easily some of the best sushi in the entire area, and it beats out a lot of the dedicated sushi bars around.
Another huge plus is their lunch menu. If you’re looking for a killer lunch spot that’s fast but still feels like a real, high-quality meal, this is it. They have an awesome variety of lunch specials that give you plenty of food without costing a fortune. It is the perfect midday break when you want something delicious that fits easily into a standard lunch hour. You get the same great quality as the dinner service, just in a perfect lunchtime size.
Speaking of costs, the prices here are incredibly fair across the board. Nowadays, going out to eat can get crazy expensive, and you often leave feeling like you paid too much for too little. Kobe keeps things totally reasonable. The portions are big, the ingredients are top-notch, and you actually feel like you got your money's worth when the bill comes. It is nice to find a spot where you can leave completely full and happy with what you spent.
To top it all off, the staff is just wonderful. From the second you walk through the front door, everyone is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They take great care of you throughout the entire meal, the service is fast, and they genuinely make you feel right at home. You can tell the crew here actually cares about the customers having a great experience, which makes the whole vibe of the place even better.
Kobe Steak House completely checks every single box. Great sushi, excellent lunch deals, fair prices, and a super friendly crew. You really can’t ask for much more out of a local restaurant. Five stars all day!”

I would suggest for anyone new to Yoshoku if you have any questions about the spice level, please call them. For me, I like a little spice so when given the option I choose G2. So far we had the Spicy Miso, Spicy Tomkatsu, the Tan Tan, Kango, and the Light Garlic. This is our new Hot Spot in Sonora!✌️❤️”
