“My husband stopped off on his way home yesterday. Right off Hwy. 49 next to the Columbia P.O. this little low key market is the best kept secret in all of Tuolumne County. Maybe even Calavares. We got a Gyro and a Philly Cheesesteak. They were Both absolutely delicious and flavorful. Plus, we got the small plenty filling sandwiches for $10.99!! An excellent price. The people who work there were very polite and cordial. There were lots of choices for beverages. We will be regulars for sure now that we know about them. They also make hamburgers. Check them out.”
“An adorable tea house just one block from downtown Columbia. No one is too young or too old to enjoy having a tea party. Endless tea selection, good comfort food. Charming atmosphere amidst bone china tea cups and saucers and tea pots with cozies. Wonderful experience and memories.”
“My review of the City Hotel and What Cheer Saloon is FANTASTIC! The atmosphere takes you back to the gold rush days, and the food is as good as it gets. This is the Golden Ticket." The kobe beef burger with snake river candied bacon is next level. It's as good of a hamburger as you will eat anywhere!”
“This restaurant is amazing. The sandwich bread and scones were so fresh. Each member of our group ordered something different, and everything looked amazing and home made-especially the chicken pot pies, salads, variety of sandwiches and teas. We were a party of eleven and they were able to accommodate us sufficiently at a long table outdoors. I really appreciated the service and attentiveness. I know it is difficult to serve large parties, but they achieved this masterfully.”
“Jake is an excellent barista and pays a lot of attention to the quality of his ingredients. The coffee is no exception: and I'd go so far as to say it's my favorite coffee in the area. It's rare to find very high quality in touristy areas generally. This place happily breaks that stereotype. Highly recommended. Do check it out if you're visiting Columbia.Dietary restrictions: Dairy-free milk options available.Gluten-free options.Kid-friendliness: Lots of products that would appeal to kids such as ice cream”
“Bella Union served a delicious meal to our group of 31, before we headed to the Fallon House. The decor was 1850s, since this is within Columbia State Park. The owner was very helpful in planning. We pre-ordered our lunches, including several with special dietary needs. The service was excellent, friendly and done in a timely manner. They were also serving two other, smaller groups at the same time. I have received many positive comments from our group about the restaurant.-Margaret Johnson”

“The staff took care of us efficiently and quickly as we came in with a large group of exchange students. Ice cream was great. I had the huckleberry and it was delicious. There is a theater with live performances attached, and we bought tickets to see "Clue" This Friday night. Can't wait!”
“By far the best Valentines dinner experience yet, four course meal was delectable with the epiphany of quality service matched to the warm environment that I would expect on such a loving holiday. My better half and I will be ABSOLUTELY returning next year as well as keeping an open eye for other holidays, a must on the return, thanks for the quality experience!!!!!!”
“I would of given a five start but a hair come out in my wife's plate!!! Kinda cut our vibe down and couldn't enjoy food the same!! But food is delicious and I know the owner personally and their costumer service is amazing so we will be back to try another dish.”

“Yiannis is by far the best restaurant in town. I’ve eaten here many times and always loved the food and the people. The family is extremely nice and welcoming and always creates a great atmosphere to dine in.”
“Blown away by how good the food is here. Coming from San Francisco where there is top quality food, I can't wait to come back here next time we visit the area. The wife of the chef even came around to ask how the food was, and our response was "you should be proud to be serving people this food." You can tell there is so much thought put into the food - we got the Mac n cheese, pulled pork sandwich and the cowboy sandwich. A++”
“I can't wait to come back! First time here. Drove from Modesto. The staff and service is great. Very attentive yet not intrusive. The Greek skillet was better than I could've imagined. No hot sauce needed. The pancake was equally delicious. 10 outta 10 can't wait to go again! Highly ”
“I have breakfast here often. Parking can sometimes be a challenge during busy times. I've always had great service from the staff. I LOVE the food. I've tried a large variety of their menu items. I particularly enjoy their breakfast but my son loves their burgers.”
“Never had the chance to try any food options, however, this is the cleanest and most modern luxury lounge in the county. Miner's Lounge specializes in Craft Special Drinks and has a nice selection of draft and bottled beer. All rustic wood and brick walls with high end leather furniture and wall to wall Screens for multiple sporting events, a luxury in wall electric fire place and bar sports like shuffle puck and corn hole in their banquet room gives lots of options for a nice date or hanging with friends. “Stopped by here for a quick late lunch and to my surprise the owner is from El Salvador. What a neat connection! Food was great. I will definitely be coming back.”
“The owner of Indigeny offered me his band's cd, free of charge, at Ed's Cocktail Lounge. In each quiet moment in Tuolomne, locals support real locals. For real local cider, there is one selection: Indigeny Reserve. Sincerely, Your Fan, No Scam.”
“Last August, I visited Camp Angel and Murphys with 4 friends, I discovered this little wine bar, and my fellow traveler said he could drive for me, so I had a cup of beer, it tasted so beautiful. So it was so much fun to find this unforgettable place on my map a year later...”
“Awesome Vegetarian options available!Fettuccini Alfredo w/pesto sauce is FRESH homemade pasta (as is all of their pasta!).Also, the baked veggie sandwich; add avocado, is another amazing friendly vegetarian option here. The “whole” sandwich is easily three meals for me.End your meal with a cannoli, you won’t be disappointed with anything you order here!Dietary restrictions: Awesome Vegetarian options available!Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly”
“This place was really fun and clean! It's fun place to have quick beer. They have great outdoor sitting especially if the outside is nice if you have pup. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone :)”
“If you’re a foodie, love a cute/ cozy coffee shop (or both), this place is a must-stop for you. The coffee and fresh baked goods are perfection and atmosphere is perfect ! I wish I could frequent it more, but the occasional times we are in the Angels Camp area, I always make it a point to stop here.”
“We found Pablo's Basecamp at the end of Murphy's Main St. on a cold winters eve and it seemed like just the right time to share a burrito with my husband. Yes share, bc it was huge and for the amazing price of $10, and that was the supreme (with avacado & sour cream). The burrito was delicious, the staff super friendly and what a quaint atmosphere with the lights and Holiday feel.”
“Not only was the iced mocha latte delicious, we were greeted with great customer service. Since we were visiting the area, Shawnee was able to give us amazing recommendations on places to try and visit. She was super friendly and extra helpful. Would definitely recommend if you're in to good coffee!!”
“Classic diner food in a friendly gas station vibe. Staff were super friendly and accommodating (we split a burger). They nailed the onion rings, chicken tenders, and French fries. Definitely have to overlook the gas station environment but kids loved it.”
“My first experience here when it was brand new wasn't fantastic . Looking for food, saw good rating and 3 ribs for a reasonable price. When I got there and ordered 2, the owner offered the same price for 1/2 rack. Tasty with dry rub and sauce on the side. They have brocoli for dinner and made me a side for lunch .”
“Great service I was expecting it to not be open because of the snow. It's wonderful to be able to go eat when most businesses are closed. The place is very clean and cute with many things to look at. The food was great and we had a wonderful server and overall a great time. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a restaurant to come with family and friends!”
“We love their pizza. We had some hiccups a couple yrs ago when new owners took over but seems to be back on track now. This place is a "no brainer" if if you are looking for yummy custom pizza. Pickle pizza is a fav. The prosciutto pesto another fav.”
