The Red Apple Bakery and Fruit Stand is a very cute little store for fresh fruit, baked good, jams, syrups, coffee and hot apple cider. Early in the morning the opening sells out pretty fast, so come early. The most delicious donuts and fritters and pie are here. Apple cider donuts are not too sweet and very light cake sprinkled in cinnamon sugar. Turnovers are also delicious, the peach turnover and an apple one are shared by visitors. The blueberry fritter and MnM cookie are 10/10 and taste homemade with love. Coffee is nice and strong, hot cider is equally as good. Fresh apples, pies, jams, a wide variety of honey sticks and stickers are also available. The gal at the register is friendly and helpful. The apple donut absolutely melted in the mouth with sugary cinnamon apple goodness, a little crumbly so watch out if eating in the car. The place can be packed but still has plenty of options before closing. Staff are nice and helpful, service is wonderful and the baked goods are great. Visitors recommend a stop for the apple crisp, apple donut, turnovers, donuts, fritters and the hot apple cider. The Red Apple Bakery and Fruit Stand is a charming roadside stop with great treats again.
