Best bagels, locks, cream cheese & cappers in town. Also fresh baked goods by Roger.
Cute cafe open early with a fun decor and good coffee. Prices are high but understandably so.
Super friendly and cozy, with a great lounge area upstairs! It was our go-to coffee spot while we were in town.

Top of the Trail | Tea and Coffee is a charming small coffee shop located on the way to Yosemite. It is a two-person operation, known for its friendly and sweet staff who provide excellent service. The interior is cute and inviting, with a whimsical upstairs area featuring leather chairs, woodwork, lights, and art, adding to its cozy atmosphere. Customers appreciate the high-quality espresso and milks, which make for great lattes, as well as the tasty food options like the breakfast croissant sandwich and egg with bacon (& potato) burrito. The breakfast items are made fresh to order, which may take a little longer, but are well worth the wait. Visitors often enjoy the delicious hojicha latte and apple-filled danish pastry, both praised for their flavor. The shop also offers a selection of coffee beans, and staff are happy to assist with grinding them. Despite being small and limited in parking, the café is appreciated for its charm, good food, and warm hospitality. Many guests have visited multiple times, noting a consistent positive experience, making it a favorite spot for locals and travelers alike.
