7 Best Wine Bars in Mammoth Lakes

“This place is awesome! Was very reasonably priced, and especially for Mammoth! I got 2 glasses of the red Rhone wine and it was fabulous. The two meat and two cheeses charcuterie board was well equipped (honey, tapenade, fruits, etc) and the sandwich seemed quite cheap considering a sandwich at the bakery next door costs more! Overall was super impressed by this quaint bar in town. Lots of red wine on the menu.... For some reason the Google menu was showing only bubbly and white wine so wanted to say there are a few reds by the glass and plenty by the bottle!“

“John provided amazing service this evening! He was busy taking care of every single table and managed to be still so efficient and personable. We even found out there was only one sous chef, so back of the house deserves recognition as well!
Great spot for vegetarian options! We ordered the bread (w/ their salted butter), the fritters, and the charred cauliflower. Best food we’ve had so far in Mammoth, highly recommend. We’ll be back!“

“Okay I just have to say… we love Side Door. It’s such a good spot after skiing. The vibe is fun but chill, not try-hard, just easy and comfortable.

And Joey is the best. Amazing espresso martinis in all of mammoth!! Scotty also amazing! Seriously. Both are so nice, super quick, and make great drinks. They both make the whole place feel welcoming. You can tell they actually care and aren’t just going through the motions.

Every time we go in we end up staying longer than we planned because it’s just that kind of place. If you’re in Mammoth, definitely stop in“

“Hi - I travelled all over California, from Australia. Black Velvet Coffee made us HANDS DOWN the best cup of coffee in the state. The staff were friendly, the venue is Excellent - MAN - I can't wait to get back to Mammoth to have another coffee :) note: most Australians drink Espresso - and these guys KNEW how to properly prepare espresso and frothed milk drinks. THANK GOD for this shop! Y'all rock!“

“A little bit tricky to find at night, but totally worth it👍🏾 The staff is top notch. Very friendly and accommodating for all dietary needs. Atmosphere: cozy, romantic, and homey. Whether in the dinning area or the living space with a bar and fireplace, it’ll satisfy whatever mood you’re in. Food: delicious, cooked perfectly and worth the price. This is must if you’re looking for a fancy dining experience night out in Mammoth Lake. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area again🫶🏾💞🩷“
