The food, the service, the hospitality were spectacular. We’ve been here twice in the same week - went for dinner and again for their golden hour. Ursa has got the best kitchen in Mammoth Lakes.
Went three nights in a row and every time it was incredible
Every single dish was soo delicious! Our waitress was so kind and the chef also came out to say hi and introduce some dishes! Amazing food :)

Ursa Kitchen offers spectacular food, service, and hospitality. It is a small, family-run business with a warm and cozy ambiance. The kitchen's timing is immaculate, and the back of the house deserves recognition. The space is intimate and lovely, operating as a fabulous permanent pop-up within a coffee shop.
The best food in Mammoth Lakes includes the short rib, which kills it with fabulous flavors. Highly recommended dishes include the cauliflower, the beet salad, the pasta, the fried chicken, the fritters, the charred cauliflower, and the golden beets, arugula, and ricotta salad. The turnip tartar with black truffle oil is one of the best dishes, and for a tartar dish to be vegan, well done. The short ribs and black ink seafood pasta is a perfect surf and turf combo. The mayonnaise cake is a must-try. The drink service may be slower, but it reflects a thoughtful approach with soju cocktails and an excellent espresso martini.
The service is top notch, with personable and efficient staff. Guests can chat with the owners and executive chef. Come with a relaxed mindset for a memorable dining experience.
