“Felt the need to review because I found the other reviews a little misleading. We almost didn't ride the gondola to the top and get a drink after reading through all the reviews but we decide to anyway just to kill some time. So here's the deal, we went New Year's Eve after a bunch of snow dumped (so very busy) and there was ample amount of seating between the inside/outside tables. People are constantly getting up and we easily snagged a spot as did everyone else I noticed. Also, it's basically a full bar. I mean somewhat limited but liquor and cocktails, 12 different canned beers, 5 or so beers on tap. Yes a little pricey but honestly Compared to Orange County/LA it's pretty consistent for what you see there (My bloody was $12 and actually very good...and I'm very judgmental of my bloodies haha) We didn't try food but I could see that it's probably a little subpar but If you're looking to ride the gondola for some views and grab a drink, definitely do it.“
“Yes it's expensive for what you get but the location is amazing. You always find a good seat, even at the peak of the ski season and the food is quite decent.Claudia kindly went in the back to get us corn bread when they ran out. The service is quite friendly.“
“Very good food! Everything we ordered was delicious. We were last party to come, and that was probably the reason we had a little bit of wait for everything. The only downside of this place was that it was very chill inside. We had to wear jackets, and food was getting cold fast as well.“

“Since moving to Mammoth back in August, I have been very disappointed with the dining choices. Elixir is fabulous! So happy to finally find such wonderful flavor profiles. the chicken on my salad was very well prepared and the smoothies were outstanding!“
