Local Scoop is a family‑run ice cream shop in June with a cute window display and bright blue chairs. The young employee is friendly and patient while customers choose from usual and unique flavors such as cake splatter, banana choco chip, black cherry choco chip, pumpkin, Speculoos, and spumoni. Three scoops cost $9 and can be enjoyed on the outdoor sitting area. The shop also offers great waffles, including a Liege waffle that impressed visitors. Some find the lack of samples a bummer, but overall the ice cream and waffle are excellent.
