Fine rest by the highway. Beautiful views.. Cozy cafe, simple snacks, with some basic groceries and souvenir shop. Friendly staff is pleasantly helpfull. But... their "Real-milkshakes and organic espresso" is simply a must. Very good! The gas-station is obviously pretty pricey.

Me, my brother in law, and his son got stuck here after finding out the YART bus was 12 hour in advance registration at this location. We explained our situation to the very nice young lady at the counter our situation, about trying to get back to our car in Tuolumne Meadows, and pick up a sick family member in Silver Lake. Not only did she help us out with our predicament, she call the owner of the gas station, who then came and drove us to Lee Vining in his car. We offered payment,...read full review
