Helena was so sweet and very kind. The food was exceptional. We got the vegetarian spring rolls, vegetarian noodle soup and the BBQ pork with rice noodles. The sauce with the spring rolls was amazing. The broth and noodles in the pho were so flavorful. The BBQ pork dish was insanely flavorful too. Would go again.

Everything about this food truck was great! The owner is so sweet and happy to chat with us while keeping up with multiple orders. We did not have to wait too long. The egg rolls (fillings were full of flavor), beef noodle soup (soup was flavorful, not too heavy or too salty, just perfect) and bbq sandwich (Banh mi, the roasted pork was delicious and very tender, bread was very fresh) were outstanding! Will be coming back here for sure if we’re headed this way. We ate in our car since it’s cold but there is an outdoor bench which could seat ~8 people. Plenty of free parking right in front.

I stop by Helena's food truck once every couple of months and by now she knows me as the girl who will order the vegan options LOL! My recommendations would be the tofu banh mi, the tofu/veggie spring rolls, and if you order the Thai iced tea she will make it sans-milk, add add lime which is surprisingly delicious. You will know she is open while driving by because she hangs a banner that says PHO in the front of the parking lot. She is super nice, I would just not stop by if you're in a rush because if anyone is ahead of you she is only a one-woman show and it may take about 15-20 minutes.

I have been waiting 40 minutes at this food truck. I stopped here because I thought it would be quick and good. Unbelievable! I’d walk but they took my money. Still here….

I found this place on the drive back from Mono Lake and saw the PHO yellow flag. We got the wonton and seafood noodle soup and it was very good. We had a very nice chat with the chef and she was very friendly. Good food, friendly service, good price, can’t ask for more. We certainly come back next time we pass thru Bishop again.

This food truck took me by surprise. I come to Bishop at least once per year for camping/climbing. It was cold enough that me and my partner decided to eat out most nights instead of freezing by our camp stove. I’m usually wary of food trucks, as they rarely are where they say they'll be, or have odd hours. Helena's is in a lot with two taco trucks, all of which seem to be there permanently. I didn’t see vegetarian/vegan on the menu posted on the side of the truck, but when I asked the proprietor, she immediately told me what she could do for me. We ordered pho and spring rolls. The mock duck pho was delicious. The broth was light but flavorful, and the bean sprouts and other toppings were fresh. We ended up reusing the pho bowl as our camp bowls for the rest of the trip. The spring rolls had crispy tofu inside and were really good. She told me she even had vegan fish sauce, which I was so glad about. Fish sauce is one of those pesky ingredients in asian food that pops up everywhere, so I’m glad she was cognizant of it. Worth a stop if you're visiting Bishop!!

So happy I tried this place. Food is very authentic and flavorful. The portions are generous. I ordered the wonton soup and my husband ordered the beef pho. The pho is had amazing broth and the wonton was so delicious. We also ordered egg rolls. Everything was extremely fresh. My husband also ordered the milk tea which did not disappoint. Last but not least the lady is super sweet! Highly recommended. 10/10. Will be coming back.

Parking: Located on a big open lot. Plenty of parking.
