Pino Pies Reviews
Best pies in CA. We are proud to support this business
You MUST stop by and try Pino Pies. My goodness, my family and I were visiting bishop and decided to try the meat pies and sausage rolls. I have not even 1 negative word. It was ALL delicious. My sister loved the sweet potato spinach pie. I loved the steak pie and also the butter chicken. But truly, they were ALL perfect. savory, plenty of umami, flaky, delicious.
Discovered Pino Pies when we drove up from Elk Grove, CA for Mules Days in Bishop, CA. Had their breakfast pie first and bought their frozen pies to take home. Butter Chicken and curry excellent! The shortbread custard and chocolate cookie is wonderful. Hoarding the last one. The sausage rolls are great. Still need to try the veggie, steak and beef & cheese. Missed the berry pies. Hope they ship.
Pino Pies offers a delicious selection of pies, including a butter chicken and a lentil mushroom option for vegetarians. The flaky, buttery crust and flavorful fillings have been highly praised, with customers describing the pies as "out of this world" and the "best they've ever had." The friendly and knowledgeable owners take great pride in their craft, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Customers have enjoyed the meat pie, which is cooked to perfection and not over salted, with a flaky crust that is just delish. Many have taken pies to go, finding them so good they had to return for more. The pies are loaded with flavorful fillings, including options like lamb, steak, and sausage roll, all held in a flaky crust that is the perfect vessel. The sides, such as crispy and flavorful slaw, complement the pies well. The owner is very friendly, and the pies remind customers of the nostalgic taste of meat pies eaten in Australia. However, visitors should note that the shop is only open three days a week. Overall, Pino Pies offers a memorable experience with rich broths, tender meats, and delicious crusts that keep customers coming back.
