This place is amazing
We came all the way from Mammoth Lakes to get some healthy breakfast! Delicious food and enough flexibility to build your own plate! Definitely a thumbs up!

Great place for healthier breakfast options. Paleo salad is great, add some eggs or salmon for complete meal. Salmon toast is pretty good too, but I thought that paleo salad had more flavour.

Great stop on my way home for a coffee, but ended up getting a delicious quiche and salad. Definitely stop again on another road trip!

Love their ALT sandwich, would've received a higher rating if they had even a single vegan sweet option or more options overall Updated from previous review on 2025-05-23

Cute cozy cafe tucked behind bookstore. Delicious earl grey lychee iced tea, a perfect refresher for a hot sunny day! Friendly chill staff and a large selection of brunch items.

The staff was friendly and nice. The food was good as was the atmosphere. Nice little coffee shop and eatery attached to a great little bookstore. My wife had the vegetarian Quiche and I had the turkey provolone panini. Both were very good.

Yummy little goodies! Great latte from one of the best baristas in town!
Honestly this place is more expensive than airport food and the quantity is less. If you eat more than a five-year-old, you’ll leave this place hungry. The food quality is okay, but not spectacular. The service is absolutely awful. No matter how kind the customers were in front of me or after me, the workers we extremity rude and disrespectful. They even let their friends cut in line and made people wait upwards or an extra 10 minutes to chat to them about music festivals or dance parties. So unprofessional. A lot of people just decided to leave while waiting.
Atmosphere is okay - the bookshop is the best part of everything. If you’re hungry, go to the grocery store and buy food for 1/10th of the price. Or, head to looney bean -> better food and service for way cheaper.

The food was great. Only reason they got dinged on service is because they were quite busy and didn't seem to handle it very well. Other than that, great healthy food. I would totally return.
