On the edge of the town. Next to the airport. I arrived after sunset, I imagine view will be great if you arrive at sunset, the whole mountain range will be bathed in the color of the sunset in front of you
I ordered Soft shell crap curry with rice. Really tasty, and size is good
This meal has become another memory of mine of stumbling on great authentic and comfy Asian food, on an exploratory road trip, in the most unexpected places. Last time it was a ramen restaurant in a remote Colorado village.

Waited an hour 20 minutes for food. Just to be served the wrong dish, and was rudely instructed to keep the dish and when I declined they said to wait another 30 minutes. And the other dish served was way over salted compared to normal. Been a loyal customer for many years but unfortunately will no longer be coming back

Slowest service ever. Staff keeps changing and recent waiter was super unprofessional when we asked about why it was taking an hour for our food

Best Thai food in the Eastern Sierra! This is our regular go-to for my family. They also do takeout. Their curries are outstanding. The Jungle Curry is my favorite, as it is unique and very spicy.

Never have been here before but will be back. It’s an awesome place for Thai food out from town by the airport but if you like Thai food it’s the place

Area resident who has dined at Thai Thai about 10 times in the past 3 years. Food is very tasty, but service is sometimes a bit lacking, like yesterday when the server forgot to put in 1 of our 4 people’s order so she had to wait an extra 10 min. Also it’d be great if the sign about “10% off for United airline passengers” was posted in the restaurant as well as the passenger terminal side of the building. It’s fun to watch the aircraft out the windows of the restaurant.

Drove out off main road craving Thai food just to arrive and there be a large sign saying their food is premade with non vegetarian/vegan sauce which is fine but google says vegan options so just a heads up that is not accurate
Worth the extra five minute drive off of the main strip. Super yummy! Great flavors and very sizable portions.

Red curry and crispy pork veg wasn’t bad. Not the best, but ok for being out here. Curry was not as flavorful, seemed more watered downed. Crispy pork veg tasted like oyster sauce stir fry.
We also ordered their Thai tea slushie special and it was a disappointment unfortunately. We didn’t want to be mean, but I should’ve said something. $8 for each I believe and you get a 16oz cup practically half filled with air bubbles. Tasted like bad tea slurpy air bubbles. I poured my cup into my girlfriend’s after one sip and it basically filled it up as if that was the actual portion. I wanted to complain and didn’t want us to pay for it, but since we felt bad that they even have this restaurant there, we just took the drink and slowly finished it. I suggest not to get it if it’s still on the menu or I hope they made it better! :D
Service was amazing though and it’s a cute shop being next to the small airport. Give them a try, but don’t expect much!

Vegans don’t bother trying to eat here. I’ve never found a Thai restaurant that wasn’t willing to accommodate vegan modifications until this one. They flatly say -“EVERYTHING have fish sauce” - with no effort to accommodate.

Flying thru Bishop to hike the JMT. This is a solid choice for delicious Thai food. I will be back.

We visited the restaurant for lunch on a Sunday late afternoon. My wife is a vegetarian and we were trying to get some veg food here. While the waitress was willing to accommodate us with our dietary restrictions, the owners constantly sent her back by saying this can't be made vegetarian.
Though we usually like to assume good intent, we felt the owners were unwelcoming towards us even though we were sweet.
Edit... Replying to owner's response: My wife told the waitress that she is fine with eggs in the vegetarian spring roll and ordered it along with a Thai iced tea. The owner is lying to make an argument. Also, if you offer vegetarian spring roll and many more vegetarian labeled foods in your menu, please actually make it vegetarain without fish sauce since fish is not vegetarian. Otherwise, you are just wasting everyone's time.

Not many option for great food in Bishop but this place stands out as one of my favorites. Growing up in a cosmopolitan city on the west coast this place can hold a candle to any Thai place I have ever been to. The Pad Thai is perfect, great flavor and not all soggy with sauce, the curries are amazing and I am usually not one to sing about a rice dish but the Thai Spicy Fried Rice is the best. The flavors that come out of this place across the board are well worth experiencing even if your palate is well seasoned. An Eastside gem, thanks for being here!!!

Absolutely delicious but might be too spicy for some. It was a low /medium spice level. The dumplings were amazing and I could eat the yellow curry all day! It's in an odd place but well worth the little drive.
