Good food. Mediocre service. Noce wondow views. Our server said he was ee, and it was apparant. Though he was trying. No reservations are accepted, so when we arrived nobody acknowledged us.

This was our second visit to the Bluewater Lounge, and honestly, the views alone are worth the trip overlooking both the golf course and the bay, it’s the kind of scenery that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled into someone’s private retreat. It’s quiet, quaint, and perfectly peaceful.

We always head upstairs for the better views, and this time we practically had the place to ourselves. The bartender wasn’t busy, which worked in our favor she was wonderfully attentive, and our food came out fast, fresh, and delicious (check out the pics!). I tried something new this round, and it was just as amazing as my first pick.

A few more people wandered in while we were there, but it never lost that relaxed vibe. Parking? A breeze. Bathrooms? Clean. Food? Fantastic. Views? The kind you’ll want to linger over. Bluewater Lounge is a hidden gem that’s too good not to share.

This was my second visit; the first was disappointing. Several years later, I returned after enjoying a pleasant day at the coast with my family to celebrate my birthday. We ordered burgers and a chipotle chicken sandwich. The service was adequate, though not particularly enthusiastic or welcoming. Upon initially going upstairs, I was not acknowledged. When I moved downstairs, I was instructed to choose any seat or return upstairs. The prices were in line with expectations. The food was satisfactory, but not compelling enough for me to return or recommend to others.

Beautiful

Everyone working at the lounge was friendly and accommodating to my wife and I. They had a live piano performance which was really nice in setting the mood. Their seafood selection was decent and their oysters were some of the best I’ve ever had. This is definitely a place we will be visiting again in the future.

A must visit to try the Fish ‘n Chips best on the Coast!!

The bar and grill at the Bodega Bay golf course. Main reason to go there is the views from the bar area are great in nice weather. Food was good enough, but understaffing makes service very slow. Very good bar program though. Still, it is well worth visiting in nice weather.

The inexperienced waiter failed to take my order properly and the the chef never asked what happened. No apology was issued. The opposite: the chef came at me blaming me!!!??? I ordered chicken curry with kale salad appetizer and only got the salad. (1/4 of it was stems- you should not be serving raw kale with huge stems )Will never come back.
