The bar and grill at the Bodega Bay golf course. Main reason to go there is the views from the bar area are great in nice weather. Food was good enough, but understaffing makes service very slow. Very good bar program though. Still, it is well worth visiting in nice weather.

The inexperienced waiter failed to take my order properly and the the chef never asked what happened. No apology was issued. The opposite: the chef came at me blaming me!!!??? I ordered chicken curry with kale salad appetizer and only got the salad. (1/4 of it was stems- you should not be serving raw kale with huge stems )Will never come back. Terrible customer serviceThe only good part was the live musicThe owner and manager needs to do some work here

The food here was hot and delicious. The upper seating area was cozy, and the bar was chic and casual. Our server, who was new and had moved from Alabama to California in 2020, was gracious and wonderful. Many thanks to him, and to the kitchen.

This place is amazing....the bartender Alex so efficient and so accommodating...the kale salad and cheeseburger was out of this world...the ambience perfect... the view of the golf course and the ocean... nothing better...they did have to scale down since COVID but believe me it is well worth it

I recently held a private Thanksgiving Eve gathering at Blue Water Lounge for 17 family members who had traveled from various parts of the country. The entire experience, from start to finish, was nothing short of exceptional. Janelle, the Client Manager, was highly professional and welcoming, and did an excellent job of presenting all of the options in a clear and concise manner. Anna, the General Manager, made regular check-ins to ensure that everything was running smoothly. The Head Chef, Kenneth, was not only highly skilled and versatile but also very accommodating to special requests and dietary restrictions. The Maitre d'/Bartender, Alex, made a point of greeting each guest upon arrival and ensuring that they were comfortable and well-served. Additionally, our server, Chance, went above and beyond to ensure that the evening ran seamlessly. It was clear that everyone involved in the event cared deeply and took a great deal of pride in their work. The cozy atmosphere and incredible views of Bodega Bay made for a truly memorable evening. Overall, I cannot recommend Blue Water Lounge highly enough.

BlueWater Lounge is an absolute gem. It strikes the perfect balance between a cozy, family-oriented atmosphere and a sophisticated venue for a romantic night out. Compared to other restaurants in Bodega Bay and nearby towns, there's so much here that stands out. Most notably, the staff genuinely cares about their patrons, going above and beyond to accommodate their needs and build a personal relationship. The executive chef is incredibly talented and versatile, whipping up everything from Korean short ribs and garlic shrimp to delicious burgers and flatbreads. The service is truly exceptional and a refreshing anomaly in the industry, especially given the challenges of the pandemic. And let's not forget the live entertainment and early Friday Bingo - these unique touches make BlueWater Lounge a major favorite for us. All in all, I highly recommend this spot.

We wandered in here and ended up having a delicious cheese board, Flatbread margarita pizza, and beer. The view is amazing and the water is stunning. The cheese plate was quite good and generously portioned. The bartenders were extrodinarily friendly and the room was exceedingly comfortable, with comfortable chairs and games on the tvs. It was not raucous, it was a nicely relaxing place to wind down our evening.

The Bluewater remodeled 9/2022 and is superb! Fabulous ocean view from the Bluewater Lounge. Current hours are Thurs-Saturday 3pm -8pm. Casual walk-in to the restaurant-- see the menu or order online for pickup : bluewaterbistro.menu It is open to the public and homeowners in the Bodega Harbour HOA. Full bar upstairs in the lounge. Order drinks at the bar. QR ordering of food from where you sit, pay & the food is brought to your table. Comfortable seating area with tables, couches and a fireplace. Weekend specials: this weekend it was Seafood Gumbo with Andouille sausage & shrimp, Grilled Flatbread, Ghirardelli Brownie. Yum. Drinks and tapas - perfect for a weekend late afternoon at the beach. Other current dishes: Margherita or Pepperoni Flatbread, Garlic Shrimp, Korean Short Ribs, Garlic Mushrooms, Cous Cous Salad or Spinach Salad - all under $20. Also Valley Ford Cheese Board ($25) and Charcuterie Board ($30) for sharing. Not open every day but great Thursday- Saturday until they offer more days.
