Food was just ok. The fish tacos were decent but nothing to write home about. The chowder bowl was good, but not great..\nThe BBQ'd oysters were huge, but took 20 -25 minutes, which would not have been bad, but they sent the other food out very quickly, so we were done eating B4 the oysters came out. they were cooked in the shell so more boiled than grilled and served with bbq sauce on top. Much different than we'd ever had, turns out it's the local way of cooking...

The Boat House is the best hidden gem in Sonoma County! We had the pleasure of having the most delicious lunch where we were met with the most AMAZING warm and friendly service by Oswaldo and Livia. We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak, Blackened Fish Sandwich, Fish and Chips and Chicken Tenders and let me tell you, my family and I are still talking about how absolutely delicious all of our food was and we cannot wait to go back.
