Lovely place, just across the bay. Having affogato and Mexican mocha on a wooden bench by the bay watching a few kitesurfing is an amazing experience!

My parents visited here during their last visit and enjoyed talking with the owner. Despite the basic flavors, the ice cream was creamy and flavorful with huge scoops. The owner was just as friendly and talkative, making us feel welcome in the area.

Great little hole in the wall.
Captain's is a hole in the wall and not much bigger. Not much place to stand on the inside but there are tables under an overhang to sit under. We didn't try the ice cream but my latte and her mocha were really tasty.
We stopped for ice cream and coffee at the end of the day. Everything was wonderful

The best ice cream in bodega bay!! I have been coming here for 20 years, it’s the perfect stop after going to the Dog House. I love the affogato with espresso chip, I make the 30 minute ride just to get it.
