Do not go between 6-6:30 PM! I don’t usually give negative reviews but I think it's important to receive the truth to support improvement. I regret to say this place’s service was too bad so I decided to speak out.
My husband and I love Mexican food. We arrived and waited for more than 10 minutes to be seated since we were asked to wait. Two tables were empty at all times, though. When we finally had a table assigned, we were waiting for 20 more minutes with no one coming by our table nor was water offered at least. A party that came after us was served before. When we asked for the remaining time waiting, we got zero answer🤢 So, we left the place and ate in a different restaurant which BTW was amazing and LESS expensive (Rocker Oysterfeller’s at the Wharf).
We would never try to eat there again. When asked where to go for dinner the next day we said anywhere but here. Just go somewhere else - you’ll think the service is better by 100% I hope this restaurant can improve in the future, and I wish them the best.

Molcajete salsa was flawless and immediately let us know this place was a banger.
If the crab and shrimp stuffed poblano special is available and you don't get it, you're a self-sabotager, and you'll never achieve your goals in life. Do yourself a favor and get this dish (or El Mazatlan)--seafood is off the chain and everything is seasoned outrageously well.

I vacation in Bodega Bay several times a year and hadn’t tried this restaurant yet, it was foggy and cold so we decided we wanted to eat Somewhere inside Out of the wind. We are so happy we came to. La Bodeguita! First of all the salsa that came with the chips when we first sat down was amazing! We had it refilled several times. We started with the fried calamari and our main dinner choices were the Crab enchiladas and El Mazatian, Both were absolutely amazing, the seafood in them tasted so fresh, and there was huge chunks of crab in the enchiladas! It was very obvious that everything on our plate was homemade not out of a can. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to this restaurant It will be one of our regular stops.
This is a great restaurant. I always get the Taco Salad - it is so delicious! The staff are super nice and welcoming. You must try this place - I think you'll love it!

I have been going here since the day they opened unfortunately the service is not as good as it used to be the prices have gone way up and the amount of food they give you has gone way down the refried beans where not very good the Chile Verde was like a half portion they want $19 for nachos as an appetizer with no option for a half order that's out of line
