Gem of Bodega bay!! This restaurant was very delicious. Everything we ordered was delicious including the torta, tacos and burrito. The family that owned the restaurant were all very kind and did a great job answering all our questions since it was our first time. The location is great, the restaurant is decorated very cute. They had great music playing and the kiddos were able to be kids and enjoy themselves.

Great food, great service, lots of seating and spacious with windows to look around. We got two burritos and they were enormous and some of the best burritos we've had. This is an excellent spot to stop after camping or a day hanging out around the bay and the beach.

I have been here 2-3 times. The service is great consistently, even when they are busy. They are kind and attentive! The food is also amazing. This most recent time I had "el capitan" which is a fried fish plate with calamari, prawns, and red snapper. It was so good and the price was fair. This is some of the best food on the coast in my opinion. It's a cozy spot too, not overly loud, but still comfortable!

Attempted to come here many times now.. they have been either weirdly closed or taking cash only . But tonight walked into a pretty full restaurant at 6:15 after a long day at the beach to be turned away and say they where closing.. it's says open until 8:30... what are the actual hours... pretty disappointing

Every time my husband and I stop in to eat it’s always the same superior food quality and friendly staff! The food is very fresh, yummy and the staff is welcoming- like you’re eating with a friend.A GREAT. place to eat in bodega bay. Highly recommend La Bodeguita!

4.5 stars. Cute little place and great for scratching that Mexican food itch. You get one basket of chips with your order. The chips were not my favorite that's the only reason I would knock them half a point. Service was excellent. Attentive but not overly so. I got the vegetarian burrito no cheese. It was HUGE so I took half back to the hotel. The ranchero sauce was mild but full of flavor! Highly recommend. My husband got the streets tacos: pastor, carnitas and shredded chicken. All were delicious but the shredded chicken was his favorite. We will definitely return on our next visit!

There aren't many places to eat while staying in bodega bay unless you're looking for fried fish or a fancy dinner at one of the hotels. This was a great option for take out with a lovely view of the bay. Definitely delicious burritos.

Updating my review. We got them last night and I have decided they are very inconsistent. Great when they're on but baaaaad when they're not.

I was tent camping and it was raining so I decide to splurge on a sit down dinner. The restaurant is clean, spacious and the server was attentive and friendly. I had a very good carnitas super burrito. The meat was plentiful, juicy and flavorful. There was a good amount of sour cream and guacamole with a balance of rice and beans as well. I ordered mine without sauce because that's how I like my burritos. It was quite filling and I ended up taking half of it to go for another meal. Their red salsa is extremely good. It is chunky with onions, cilantro and I kept asking for more and more. The chips were fresh, crisp and not greasy. I will be back in the future.

This is the closest restaurant to us from our place in Salmon Creek, there's even a trail on which you can walk here in a mile - the coastal Trail. Or vice versa if you want to go to Salmon Creek from this restaurant, take the trail to the beach! The main reason we stopped in is because it has a large dog friendly patio. Keep in mind that it is not covered though and has no heat lamps, so you won't be able to come with your furry friend during the rain. I came with a few friends and we studied the menu on the front wall, but somebody went inside to get the menus for the table for easier viewing. The picnic tables were decorated with colorful coverings. We each went inside to order at the cashier station. This way you don't have to worry about splitting checks if you are in a group. They brought us out chips and salsa for free, which was a nice surprise. I ordered the taco salad and it was huge but lacked a little bit of flavor despite using the salsa they gave us. The service was friendly and efficient. They brought our food to us outside. There is a large smooth parking lot that is shared with the café next-door. There's also a large RV park and next to this is the bodega bay community center. My friends used the outdoor restroom here when we were at the farmers market that occurs in the community center area and they didn't want to use the Porta potty but I have not used it here yet. There were some tables inside, but we were the only ones seated outside when we went on a Sunday afternoon. Would give it another try and maybe take my own chilies

We walked in around 6pm on a Sunday night and service was quite slow but they were busy with people occupying tables. My partner and I ordered 2 burritos here. I picked the vegetarian burrito and it was nothing but soggy cheap lettuce with rice and beans and maybe a little bit of tomato and soggy guac was hardly seen. My partner ordered a shrimp burrito and it was the same as mine but a couple small pieces of shrimp. The burritos were on the bigger size with a nice sauce on top which was the only enjoyable part. The atmosphere was pleasant but the food quality was quite lacking in quality.

My husband and I stopped at La Bodeguita on our way home from spending all day at a beach along Bodega Bay. I really wanted to give this place four stars, because the tortilla chips were stale and seeing them fill the chip bin with tortilla chips that were stored in a cardboard box seemed somewhat odd. Other than that, our burritos were fabulous, their salsa was excellent, and service was very friendly and prompt. I feel that knocking a star off for tortilla chips would be unfair and undeserving because we went there for the burritos that we were craving all day (and they were delicious), now if we would have paid for the chips or ordered nachos, this would be a different type of review. ;) We do recommend this place, we've been there twice, and we will be happy to return.
