I'm probably never going to bodega bay again now that Lucas Wharf has closed and changed its owner. It's a rule that all the best things don't last so I'm not surprised.
Had to stop here, because of the large crowds.Also there was a sign that stated " best clam chowder 2023 Sonoma county".We were not disappointed. We got a to go cup of clam chowder this time. Price was significantly better than that of the birds cafe . Below 10 dollars. As for the quality. Big city prices at remote waterfront location. The view of the bay is good. Fish and chips with salmon and rockfish is $30 though. Service was attentive if brusque and it feels like they optimized for the number of seats rather than ambience, but we enjoyed the experience, the view and the food.
