I was here with my sister November 10th. We sat at the bar as the restaurant was pretty busy. Food was delicious, sadly the service/bartender was less desirable and not helpful, at all, we seemed more of an inconvenience to him. He had an attitude. Thankfully, the girl was much nicer behind the Bar.

Ok, I am bursting at the seams writing this review. I’m so full and so upset that I have absolutely no more room for another bite. I might do it anyways because this Fisherman’s Stew is SO good! It was so warm and comforting and I’ll be completely honest, it was so good I’m heavy in this weird fantasy of wanting to be in an entire hot tub filled with the broth with a body pillow sized baguette. Ok, I’m sorry, I’m making this weird. Excellent food, my husband got the pimiento cheese burger and it was also awesome. The clam chowder was awesome. Our server was awesome. The ginger cake was awesome. If the sun were up I’m sure the view of the wharf is nice too. We’re definitely coming back!

We were waiting on our food next door and decided to stop in for a drink. From the start, the bartender was rude. While taking our orders she made fun of us for having our ID’s ready and for our “niceties” …. Right from the get-go kind of weird? Like dang I’ve never been roasted for being nice before.
We ordered a round of (3)oyster shooters. When I tell you that we were waiting for over 25 minutes for the shots, I’m not joking. (Spoiler: we never got them)
We were waiting patiently and quietly and bartender lady kept telling us they have to shuck them to order and that we ordered after a 20 top so we should expect to wait.Yada yada yada. Ok. Cool. We weren’t even pressed about it but she was acting like we were being karens for no reason! Huh? I thought we were too nice. Idk.
Im a server and bartender for a living so I can understand projecting your own frustrations with the kitchen or bar onto your guests and trying to over explain.. but what she should’ve done is try over correct. Or get us something different at least? After the 25 minutes I got a text saying our food was ready!! That means the fishetarian next door made an entire 3 person meal (which included a dozen fresh shucked oysters, in that time) and we STILL DIDNT HAVE THE SHOTS! Did the bartender offer us literally anything else instead ? A shot of tequila? A different drink off the menu? LITERALLY ANYTHING? No. She told us after 30 mins that she cancelled them. So we left. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Check out the Fishetarian next door instead.

Best fisherman’s stew Eve. Great bay view. Beautiful woodwork makes it cozy
I had my Birthday dinner here Saturday night! We split a wedge salad and the captain's platter . It was delicious! Our server Beth was very attentive and offered a lot of suggestions . Also had the garlic bread, it’s addictive to say the least. We will definitely be coming back!

I recently dined at Rocker Oysterfellers at Lucas Wharf, and it was an outstanding experience! The captain's platter was absolutely amazing—fresh, delicious seafood that truly showcased the local flavors. The ambiance was enhanced by the stunning views of the bay, and I was lucky enough to spot a seal playing nearby, which added a delightful touch to the atmosphere. The combination of fantastic food and picturesque scenery made for a memorable outing. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal with a view!

Serving excellently fresh seafood and drinks, with the prettiest waitresses on the West Coast, the spot is a crossroads between fine dining and hearty working person fare I ordered the fish and chips, and my friend ordered the clam chowder with fresh garlic bread, and both were excellent.
Great for taking your kids, or a special night out with that special someone for special special special, the interior is warm, woodsy and overlooks Bodega Bay.
I recommend this place if you want fresh delicious Seafood the drinks were good too.

Came here for a Bloody Mary and some oysters and it did not disappoint. The drinks were delicious and we got a few snacks to share. We got the Captain’s platter and the seafood platter. All the food was fresh and really good! The perfect pit stop in Bodega Bay
Dietary restrictions: My friend is gluten free and they went the extra mile and put the fries on the side for her

Awesome spot! The atmosphere was perfect and the sunset view was killer. The food was worth every penny and the fun multi-culti options like elote oysters did not disappoint. Jam's done it again! We'll be back soon.

Second time back today! The view here of the seals splashing in the water during lunch was amazing. Food is delicious. Elote oysters were in my dreams. We also tried the Manila clam chowder, shrimp frogs, shrimp and grits, fish and chips all excellent. The mudpie was heavenly. Honestly, it's wonderful to see such a lovely restaurant take root here. Our service was awesome and friendly, we will be back to sample the rest of the menu!

Wasn't sure given some reviews but we had an excellent dinner last night with great service. Crab cocktail, wedge salad ( with added crab cake) and really the best Cioppino ever. Wife and I were very happy with the food and our server, Autumn was on point, juggling about 8 tables. Great food, fun crowd...highly recommend

We were hoping to get takeout since it was our baby’s naptime, but the restaurant wasn’t able to do so at that time so we took a risk and dined in. We got seated right away and they had a high chair to accommodate her (but it was very dirty, so I had to clean it down before using). I rated this place highly because the food was delicious even though the cleanliness wasn’t. We had the elote oysters, Cajun pasta with crab, and fish & chips. The elote oysters were my favorite and a MUST TRY. The pasta was also very good in flavor and a very generous portion so I could share with my husband. His fish and chips were also very good and enjoyed how the chips were a combo of potato chips and fries which made it unique. Recommend checking out their food and they have a view if you sit by the windows. The meal was easily over $100 for two people.

We have been really excited to try this place which is why it was so disappointing when we were greeted by an unreasonable and icy host on late afternoon or 9/7. This would have been an easy 5 star review but being that our very first 15 minutes there was so unpleasant, it set the tone for the entire dinner.
We arrived at 4, and were told they were only serving cold food and would have to wait till 5 for the dinner menu. We said that was fine and said we would order drinks and cold menu in the mean time. The hostess sat us at a bar table but after seeing there was plenty of open tables in the dining area we asked to be seated there. The hostess replied by saying they were all reserved tables which I thought was weird because they only do reservations for parties of 6 or more and there were plenty of tables that only seated 4. We looked at her confused and sat down. After not being helped for a while, our husbands went up to the bar to order drinks and I went back to the hostess to say we were going to sit outside until we could have a regular table in the dining area. She then proceeded to again say that those tables were reserved which I then pointed out that there were plenty of tables of only 4 and reservations were for 6 so her logic didn’t make sense. She said there was a reservation for 3 for a special party, but still- there were multiple tables we could have sat in. She said we couldn’t put our name in for a table until 5pm and that I should be aware “they are very busy.” Which she said multiple times.Yes. We know this, which is why we came early (and it was not busy). After her continuing to try and detour me for wanting to sit in the dining area, I walked over to the bar to meet my husband and friends where she then walked over and asked us to sit outside and not at the bar because the bartender “was very busy” even though we were sitting in bar seats and the place WAS NOT BUSY. She walked away and that “very busy” bartender took our order as soon as she walked away. The bartenders had great customer service and we went outside with our cocktails. We noticed that the unfriendly host left and so I went back inside to see if someone else would help us. As I was waiting, a couple came in and asked to sit in the dining area and were seated by the window immediately. As you can imagine at this point it feels personal. A server came over and asked if they could help me, I explained my experience with the hostess and asked what was happening and if she could explain why we’re being singled out. The waitress was kind and sat us immediately at a table: our server was also kind and again would love to give 5 stars but can’t. I am not sure what judgments the hostess made about us but I can’t not for life of me figure out why she was so clearly trying to deny our business. We loved Lucas Warf, even got engaged there over 15 years ago and were so excited to be back and see the new business but we will not be going back.
I would like to add that it was never so busy that there was a line, so I don’t know why she continued to say that to me. Also, I am aware that restaurants have lull periods in between dinner and lunch and even though that was not communicated well online, we were very understanding. She could have said “dinner doesn’t start till 5 but please help yourself to the bar and cold menu in the meantime.” Maybe we didn’t look like we we had money? Maybe she was tired after the lunch haul? Either way- a little kindness takes little effort and goes a long a way and being intentionally difficult takes a lot of effort and leaves lasting impression.

We waited an hour and a half for our food and it was really bad. Ground beef tasted light it had turned. Calamari was just bread no squid. All platters were not even half way finished and we are good eaters. Cost 200 for 6 of us. Should have been at least Denny’s quality.

Local to the area. Bottom line: The food we ordered wasn't great. The clam chowder was the best item we ordered. The captains platter was really disappointing. Best thing on the captain's platter were the fries. The calamari tasted like it had gone bad. I didn't like the breading, pretty soft and doughy on the fish and shrimp. All you could taste was the oil. Nice atmosphere, service was overstretched. Probably won't go back here again.
