The food is amazing!! You will not find more fresh crab than here at spuds. As a foreigner a local recommended Spuds, and I am so glad I listened. I had their crab sandwich and it was amazing, I went back for a second. Their clam chowder is every bit of perfect.

Long wait but so worth it. Super fresh and well seasoned seafood. Prices are competitive and portions are very generous. I will definitely go back. Parking is up the road.

As many already mentioned, the food here is OKAY. I drove 2hrs with high expectations because of the reviews, only to realize it wasn’t nothing special. In addition, the portion size are too small for the price.

The seafood was VERY fresh but that’s about it. Idk if I’d return to be honest. I feel like I can find better in SF.

Great local and family owned spot. Small and cozy space with outdoor seating. Classic chowder was good for sure, however it seems like the recipe has changed 😔. I remember it used to have more sage flavor...not this time though.

Best clam chowder for miles

It was a bit pricey than I was expecting. It was alright a few shells in the crab sandwich and a little sand in the clam chowder. It was a fun experience that check off the list.

Yes you get crap quarter. Pounder doesn't quite seem like much. Very plain sandwiches are small. Very plain. One little container of cocktail sauce $45 later I don't know. Maybe it's just California. Things are getting out of hand with the price.. crab meat yes, but it didn't seem that special. I think you'd be better served going to a sit-down restaurant and getting something that has a little more added to it.. they serve it to you through the window. It's not like they bring it to your table and they still asked for a tip when you use your card. I gave something but I wish I wouldn't have given anything. I can't go get it myself so somebody's got to get it.. again, the portion is very small for the amount you pay for it..
