Quaint, cozy and clean restaurant. Food offerings/menu choices were excellent. Flavor of crab cake, duck and wagu beef dishes were superb. Bread pudding and chocolate cake was a disappointment. Service was a little melancholy. Made a reservation for 2 celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary (noted in the reservation). The person seating us first offered us a table for 4 that was in way of the front door. Possibly saw our reluctance, proceeded to offer us a small table for 2 in a corner, which was a lot better. Overall great experience.
Recommended by a friend, Terrapin Creek is a lovely little spot on the Bodega Bay coast. Low key, friendly service. Relatively traditional menu, but the food is of such high quality and turned out with a lot of care. We will definitely go again and recommend it heartily.
Another wonderful experience, with great service by Guillaume, excellent food and nice atmosphere
Fantastic food in a casual, comfortable environment! We loved it so much that halfway through the meal we decided to buy a birthday gift certificate for our daughter to dine there. Great for an evening out AND for a special occasion. The owners really know what they are doing. Can't wait to go back.
It was our first time at Terrapin Creek. The staff was welcoming, our server was attentive and knowledgeable and the food was well executed resulting in an enjoyable evening. A limited cocktail bar was available along with an extensive wine list. Our server was available, but not overbearing and we didn't feel rushed...it was a very pleasant and relaxing evening. Overall it was a great experience for good value.
We had an early reservation and the restaurant filled up soon Fish stew and swordfish were fabulous We shared the asparagus salad Our server was great
Have eaten at Terrapin Creek a half dozen or so times. Every time, friendly, professional service, fantastic food, excellent cocktails, an affordable and well curated wine list. It's easily the best restaurant on the Marin Sonoma Coast. If you have a chance to go, don't hesitate. And don't miss their sourdough bread pudding!
A very bad experience. We arrived at 7:30, but they didn’t accept us. They closed at 8:30, but they said there were no empty seats (but there were only a few tables occupied). The chef stared at us as soon as we entered the door, and the waiter seemed a little bit discriminatory against us.

I don’t typically rate restaurants, but we had to after eating here! The food was outstanding! Everything paired well, was cooked perfectly and was well beyond our expectations. The service was quick and everyone there was very friendly and welcoming! We will absolutely be back! 10/10 recommend!

Stupidly good. Everything about this place was great. Food, service was stellar. Thank you to Guillaume for very attentive table service. Reasonable prices given the high quality of food. We will definitely be back.

The peach and tomato salad was to die for. The touch is f pesto made it pop. My dear friend who never touches salad or eats anything green was raving about it. He was sorry he shared the salad with his wife and hadn't order his own. The crab cake appetizer and the sauce that comes with it, is the best in the west! Both the steak and the pork chop options were tender, juicy and delicious. We had four different desserts for our party of four and all were marvelous - the chocolate cake was moist and warm with home made whipped cream, the passion fruit cheese cake flavorful, the panna cota with strawberries scrumptious with a touch of basil, and the bread pudding with homemade whipped cream and carmel sauce....all very tasty! Can't wait to go back.
Terrapin Creek is an oasis of hospitality and culinary excellence in Bodega Bay. Great locally sourced ingredients, simply and perfectly prepared, are matched with a thoughtful wine list. The staff is top notch too!

Casual diving with top-of-the-line cuisine. We Don’t live in the area whenever we visit this is where we go for dinner. We’ve been eating here and visiting for many years and have never had a disappointing dish delivered to our table. The wine list is good and reasonable and short we really love this place.
