A group of 4 LOVING every bite! Tender scallops, fantastic fish, tender and crispy duck; and the cheese cake was light and deliciously perfect. The beef was good, not great. Overall, it was the Best good we have had in a while. I can't wait to go back to taste the other items !

This is a charming restaurant with a happy staff and great cooking. I would have preferred more info and advice on some of the dishes from our waitperson. The fish dishes are their forte. My choice, the pork chop was not a good cut. It was more fat than meat. My do over would have been a fish entre like the halibut. BUT, I would definitely return for another meal.

A welcoming and cozy atmosphere with gracious service, this restaurant is Star caliber without the pretension. We headed straight for the seafood and were impressed by the quality, simplicity and depth of flavor. A meal complete with dessert and drinks for half of the expected price. Will recommend highly to my closest friends. Remember to add the bread so you can further savor the sauces!

Had a very enjoyable dinner here on our first night at Bodega Bay. The dining room was a little dated but bright and pleasant. Staff were friendly, our server also made our delicious Negronis. We liked all our dishes but felt that the appetizers were on the small side (Caesar salad, crab cake and bread).

My husband and I spent our 35th wedding anniversary dinner here. The food was amazing. I had the best halibut I have ever had. My husband loved his duck. Service was excellent.

Charming and cozy vibe. Delicious and creative dishes prepared from excellent ingredients. Unpretentious yet the chef/owners clearly know exactly what they're doing. We cheerfully thanked the chef on our way out, he was all smiles, we had a good dinner in a special location. We drove down from the Russian River along the coast in the summer evening sun, took about 25 minutes, well worth the trip.

Excellent restaurant in Bodega Bay with good service, excellent food. Elegantly presented, perfectly cooked duck breast, scallop appetizer and desert. Can be difficult to get a reservation as it is popular. They start serving early which leaves time for a sunset stroll. Highly recommended.

We had an excellent dinner recently at Tarrapin Creek - every course was perfection. We started with the oysters which were sublime. Next we had the very fresh hamachi crudo. I had the roast duck breast and my husband had the Wagyu strip steak and both of us enjoyed our entrees immensely. We finished with the passion fruit cheesecake topping off the meal perfectly. Terrapin earns its five star rating.

Quaint, cozy and clean restaurant. Food offerings/menu choices were excellent. Flavor of crab cake, duck and wagu beef dishes were superb. Bread pudding and chocolate cake was a disappointment. Service was a little melancholy. Made a reservation for 2 celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary (noted in the reservation). The person seating us first offered us a table for 4 that was in way of the front door. Possibly saw our reluctance, proceeded to offer us a small table for 2 in a corner, which was a lot better. Overall great experience.
