Incredible food! Stunning views. Beautiful ambience. Great service. Above and beyond. Great experience!

$58 crab stuff steak. Do not go big, go home and make your own steak because this was not a fillet mignon. Taste more like a choice cut from Walmart. Mashed potatoes, focaccia and veggies were delicious. Two stars out of five.

This is an amazing restaurant with fine dining,excellent service and beautiful views. My sole stuffed with crab was over the top. Craft cocktails and and nice wine list. Don't miss!

Very nice. Food was much better than expected. Our server, Tim, was friendly, efficient and knew when to approach and when not to. The food was well timed and evenly spaced. Food itself was delicious! Will definitely come again!

We went to Bay View for the first time during Restaurant Week. We immediately noticed that while there were many tables full, it wasn't noisy, a plus for us to make it easier to chat among our group. We had excellent service, pleasant staff and the food was delicious. Added bonus is the views of the bay. We are anxious to go back and check out dishes from the regular menu!

I always judge restaurant by the vegetables served with the entrepreneur. Each of the several vegetables were delectable and the scalloped potatoes the greatest ever. The beef short ribs were so tender no knife was needed! Service was friendly and very accommodating. A truly lovely experience

We went with friends for a special occasion and had a wonderful experience. First time at Bay View restaurant. Our dinners were outstanding!!! I had the coq au vin, one person ordered the cedar planked salmon and two ordered the braised short ribs. The portions are generous and the presentation is really beautiful. The oysters appetizer plate was presented beautifully too. The service was wonderful- very pleasant, attentive but not hovering. The space is lovely- fireplace, white linen cloths, a rose on each table, nice lighting. And a full bar. We were really glad we'd decided to go here for this special holiday get-together and will definitely be back. This gem needs to be supported!!! Don't miss the gingerbread Bodega display created by the very talented chef.

Wonderful atmosphere and ambience! The menu is more than adequate for my pescatarian diet. Throughly enjoyed the live music. Service was topnotch, friendly without being stuffy or overbearing. If you're looking for a classy and elegant spot with delicious food look no further. Much thanks to the staff and management for providing an excellent dining experience.

It was a pleasure to see this place opened again. It had a distinguished history as a high end restaurant in the area but suffered closing because of Covid. It's back, and with a bang. The food and service are excellent, and the beautiful ambience hasn't changed in the 40 years or so we've been going here. We'll be back, many times. It's the only restaurant in the area that can give Terrapin Creek significant competition.

Food was good however service was not great with Merry. Nice person but took 15 minutes for her to come over after we sat to take our drink order. Service was slow after that. She forgot that I ordered a glass a wine and then got charged for 3 glasses when I only had two. Food was pretty good however the service really needs to improve.

I would not rate this place at all. Our server was pretty rude and when I asked if they have french fries she kinda scoffed at me. Also and this you do not expect from a place that comes highly regarded was when they brought out one of our main courses, the salmon with veggies, no joke an ant was in the food. I believe if you have 1 ant, you have at least a few. Our server looked mortified when she saw it and just walked away. She sort of downplayed it, walked away and apologized for it even though I doubt she was sorry. After that I felt like we were treated differently and it was not even until the hostess came over and asked if everything was OK that I said there is an ant in the food we are not gonna eat it. The hostess was very pleasant from the start and I could tell she felt bad unlike the waitress. The hostess took away the ant plate and asked if we want anything else. We then asked for some chicken tenders to go - which they brought out but did not give us any condiments for the chicken which was dry. I honestly would not rate this place and kinda feel I wasted money at the restaurant and the hotel there that we were staying at. I spent collectively $450 for the hotel and $150 for the restaurant which totals $600 and I do not feel it was worth it. I will say that the bartender at the restaurant made great drinks and was fun to talk about. I sat at the bar before my family joined me and he made a great espresso martini.

It was a lovely experience - our food was beautifully prepared and the service was exceptional. Making a reservation a day or more in advance will hopefully reserve you a table at the windows overlooking the Bay. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area.

The service was very good; of course, only three tables were booked. The ceviche was very good. The other two at the party had the crab bisque and said it was very good. Their meals were good. They had the short ribs and the seafood tower. I had the beef caprase salad. I ended up sending it back, as the quality of the meat was poor and the overall flavor was unedible. The staff was very attentive and kind. They tried to offer me something else, but chose not to order another entree. While the staff is nice and some of the offerings were good, I do not think we will ever go back.
