The service and food were nothing less than amazing! The presentation of the plated food was top-notch, and everything was delicious!

Just had a great experience. So happy to see that it reopened last year and couldn't wait to make a trip to Bodega Bay! Stayed at the Tides Inn while in Bodega Bay and was so happy to discover that the Tides by the Bay was back open. There were some slowdowns at the bar, but it's such a small restaurant, that there is not a dedicated bartender. But the ambiance is so nice, you don't want a rushed experience anyway! We loved our appetizers and meals! It's a fusion style restaurant so something for everyone and lots of selection! The service staff was outstanding! Already talking about returning to this place!

This was one of my best dining experiences in recent memory. The interior and tables were spacious and upscale with a view out to Bodega Harbor. The service was stellar - friendly, attentive, and informative. We had the Halibut and the Petrale Sole wrapped around Dungeness Crab and shrimp with a creative and beautiful presentation and both were absolutely delicious. Not only that, but the prices for the food and wine were a great value. I don't live in the area, but the next time I am in Bodega Bay, this is the restaurant I will come back to.

Not enough servers or dedicated bar tender. We would have ordered additional drinks if we would have seen our server. Restaurant is dated but in good shape. The food was fine but not great.

We enjoyed a great dinner at Bayview. Recommend the bento box and seafood with pasta - absolutely delicious. Wonderful service. A real gem not to be missed.

I think it was our waiter's first night . Looooong spaces of time when we did not even see him. Overcooked steak. Themanager stepped in and offered us free dessert . Nope not going back.

I will be telling everyone what a wonderful place this is! The food was FABULOUS! The wait staff was Attentive without being obtrusive. All this and a lovely view of the bay. I can't wait to go back!

Great service, cocktails, and excellent food with delicious local ingredients. Lovely bay view and quiet ambiance, which was nice for conversation. We appreciated the server's attentiveness and the hostess coming by our table to check if we were happy with our meal and if we needed anything. Would definitely dine there again.

I had dinner with friends last week. We were warmly welcomed with fresh baked breads! Absolutely delicious! The appetizers were scrumptious, the entrees were cooked to perfection, and the deserts were over and above wonderful. The staff members were so helpful and knowledgeable. I plan to return very soon. That bread! Incredible!

Service and food were very good. We enjoyed our cocktails, the soup tasting, crab egg rolls and the salmon with a caper lemon sauce. For Bodega Bay it is the best restaurant around and we will return when in the area.

On Friday, June 27th, we had the pleasure of dining at The Bay View Restaurant in Bodega Bay, CA. There were 3 of us and we all had something different - we started with amazing crab rolls, followed by caesar salad and our main courses were: Petrale Sole stuffed, Pan Seared Fillet of Salmon Picatta and Seafood Pasta. We topped it off with a fresh baked apple pie, made by in-house pastry chef. The service was great as was the bay view. We would absolutely recommend the Bay View and will be back again.
