Good food, service, and scenery. My husband and I enjoyed the fish tacos and the fish and chips. It was definitely worth the stop.

I stopped by for lunch on a sunny day and this was a home run. The Hitchcock wink just gilds this very pleasant spot. The Birds sits right off the water with multiple levels of scenic, outdoor seating wrapped around the little kitchen where you order and pick up. Pass the single stall bathroom, and you'll find an adjacent building set up as a coffee shop. The menu is simple, but effective. Fish Tacos: Loved them. The fish has a light, crisp batter. They're served with shredded cabbage, fresh pico de gallo, and an avocado sauce on top. Two hearty tacos to an order and so good. Artichoke Fritters: I know this is county fair food, but I loved these. I thought they might be heavy, but they were actually pretty crunchy, frilly, and delicate. They're good with the ranch on the side and a little hot sauce. The portion is honestly giant which is fun. I took my leftovers home and enjoyed them again that night!

Stopped by here for lunch because the reviews were good. Order at the window and you get a little buzzer so feel free to roam around while you wait or just take a seat in the dining area outside! Came here on a sunny day, it wasn't too packed and had a considerable amount of seating choices. I ordered the shrimp tacos and onions rings and my sister got the clam chowder. The tacos were fully packed to the brim with veggies and what not, it was crunchy and delicious. A solid 8/10. I wish they had more sauce inside the taco that stood out more. The clam chowder was a decent sizable meal too! The onion rings were so crunchy and good.

Great food, good service! Both inside and outside seating. Would come here again! The fish and shrimp tacos were delicious. The raw oysters were fresh and delicious. Oyster roll was moist and very tasty.

We stoped by here for breakfast- husband got a white mocha and burrito, while I went with breakfast sandwich and a cafe au lait. Food was great and priced reasonably, while service was friendly and fast. I loved the "Birds" themed decor inside, a homage to Alfred Hitchcock's classic movie shot in the area. Other breakfast options included churros, almond cake, other baked goods. There's outdoor seating available as well. I would definitely come back.

Before we left Bodega Bay, we finally stopped at this great looking cafe we drove past a ton of times. We got there right as they opened, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. While we waited, we checked out the historical pictures hung throughout of the namesake film by Alfred Hitchcock. I ordered a white mocha and a breakfast burrito. The coffee was good, and the burrito hit the spot. It was better than the one we had tried from diekmanns the day before. My kiddo ordered a white mocha blended and absolutely loved it. Wish we had stopped there sooner as it would've been a daily visit.

They have a great selection of drinks as well as breakfast items. I believe they usually have baked goods as well, there was only almond cake when we were there. The service was fairly fast, we got there right at opening. The seating is very nice, they keep it very clean and tidy in the outdoor seating. We enjoyed some long awaited sunshine as we had our food and drinks. I ordered the bacon burrito and an oatmilk latte. All very good. Very charming place.

We got a vanilla oat milk latte and a hazelnut oat milk frappe. They were both some of the yummiest coffees we've had, and we go to cafes all the time! Prices were very responsible, and the cashier was extremely warm and friendly. We sat inside because it was chilly, but there is a great view of the bay just out the window. I would definitely recommend a stop if you want a little treat.

Good coffee, amazingly well done churros, and moderate chai latte. 4 stars for the friendly girl at the counter, not the rude one, and what looked like very nice croissants. Lots of places to sit outside and explore different paths that may lead to nowhere. Parking is a nightmare- narrow, packed, with very aggressive people waiting while you walk to car etc. just know that if you go down into the lot, turning around is a 15 point turn at min due to the narrowness. One star off for the kitchen guy who came out from the next door kitchen, sighed loudly, wiped his head and face with his bare hands, rubbed head and moaned aggressively, letting out the days' frustrations before digging in as he sat at the first table outside by the entrance. Next, he played an episode of his fave true crime podcast loudly while enjoying his lunch. The manager or whomever she was came out and spied on him (stood in back of him and watched him) yet she didn't ask him to move or turn his phone sound down. Ugh makes me not want to ever work in a kitchen and probably won't come back to try the food if it is THAT rough to work there. Strange vibes. Yikes. Long line that moved quickly for the fried food fest next door. Bathroom is outside by the line for fried food.

I'm giving three stars because the people were very friendly & nice, the location was cute, and the restroom was clean. We had fish and chips and fish tacos. The fish had ZERO seasoning, not even salt! It was the most bland fish that any of us had ever eaten. The clam chowder was also flavorless. They did not have salt or pepper on the table. They had to bring it to us from the kitchen. The best thing was the sautéed shrimp on the salad and the french fries. Maybe there are other things on their menu that earned such stellar reviews, but ours was a truly disappointing meal.

Great little spot on the north side of Bodega Bay off of route 1. It has a little restaurant, a coffee shop, and a gift shop in three separate small buildings. We ordered the fish & chips and the fish tacos. Both were pretty good. The homemade tartar sauce had a unique flavor and really went well with the fish. The parking is right off route 1, which I would imagine is crazy packed during high season. Great place to stop with a nice outdoor patio! Decent wine selection by the glass.
