The Tides Wharf & Restaurant

Food was ok, not good. Dining experience was poor. It was very quiet, painfully so. I asked the server to turn on music, and he explained that there wasn't any. The server barely conversed with us. I had to order my drink from the bar because the server had disappeared. It was sunset but the blinds were pulled down. I pulled them up myself, and other customers did the same. Very disappointing.

I have not had a chowder bread bowl in a while. I love and bake sourdough, this was very good. My Wife had the cold seafood salad, which was also good.

Nice option for to-go clam chowder and whole crab if you want something to eat at the beach or take home. They also have lots of wines and complementary snacks like cheeses, crackers, etc.

My 3 stars are because my partner asked the host if they can sing happy birthday to my mom & he told us they don’t do that.
A couple minutes into us eating, the staff came out of the kitchen with a small pastry & a candle singing happy birthday to another table! It was genuinely upsetting because I wanted my mom to also feel special on her birthday :/
The 3 stars is not a reflection towards our waitress, she was great & helped us super quick.

Great views of bay as on good days sea otters swimming about and plenty of seafood dishes. Lots of parking and soon few charging stations. Service a bit downhill since a year ago as long wait to order and food bit over fried and dry. Dessert a plus especially their chocolate mouse.

This a a very nice coastal seafood restaurant and bar. The selection of beers was good and the service and atmosphere at the bar was spot on!

We were running late for our 6pm reservation; I called and they asked 6:15 or 6:30? Very polite. We arrived and were seated immediately; our server arrived promptly to say that water would be poured shortly and would we like bread? (Yes! It was sourdough and spectacular.) Just wonderful service before, throughout and after our meal. We ordered Shrimp Cocktail, Fish Cioppino and Shrimp Scampi. All were brought to our table promptly, in the right order, and were delicious. Wine prices are actually reasonable at $10-14 per glass. My Fumè Blanc was excellent. And the views! Highly recommended!

I wasn’t even hungry, but wanted to sit in this restaurant (Hitchcock fan). The prawn cocktail was amazing. The hidden gem is the bakery. I bought a cannoli and some other croissant thing—both were exquisite!

This place needs revamped. Needs help-menu update,food display, interior design. We waited for our reservation. You cant get a cocktail at bar while waiting. Food was out late. Our last two guests meals came out soo late. Everyone was done eating. Items we ordered came out very late, had to ask again for items. The staff mentioned the owners were there.( Maybe the staff was stressed). Dinner for 7 people from out of town was ok. It's an ok spot to eat. Thank you

Avoid at all cost, plenty of other better options.. terrible food quality, terrible service and highly overpriced. Will not come back
