We had a wonderful time wifey and I dropped in in July of 2020 just before the big fire came. It was the height of the coronavirus the brewery was closed in wineries turned us away the tasting rooms close didn't even allow to taste expecting you to buy bottle, but luckily we were able to taste all the wines in the Anderson Valley area worth it and had a lovely cheese and cracker plate on the patio at Disco Ranch. The staff was very helpful when I asked for a powerful red with lots of fruit a friendly gal hooked us right up with what we wanted. Being more familiar with wines further south in the Napa/Sonoma Valley areas, we were so happy to try the wines from up here and the breathtaking scenery is amazing. I'm writing this review now because we are heading back to the area and probably will swing on by this charming spot sometime near the end of this month.

Wendy is uber knowledgeable about wine and once she learns your palate can recommend great future choices. Great spot to sit, drink a glass of bubbles, look at the mountains, meet friends, whatever...Nice selection of local wine makers. Great deli takeaways.

We love stopping by here on our way to/from the coast. It’s so relaxing and enjoyable to have a mix of the small bites she serves up along with a glass of local wine. It’s also the best selection of French and Italian wines around to take home.
Wendy is a gem! Grabbed some piquillo peppers stuffed with goat cheese, some delicious beans, dolmas and a couple glasses of wine. Wine was perfect, Wendy has a lot of stuff that’s off the beaten path. Definitely a must stop when you’re in the area!
Incredibly good selection of Laurent Perrier champagne! Great pairing options with wine and champagne by the glass. The attendant was so helpful and friendly! Will absolutely be back when we pass through.Clean bathroom and good outdoor seating area.

Wendy is an amazing resource for any recommendations, so one could definitely gather some gifts for the other wine lovers in your life here. I tend to acquire something so local it's hard to find anywhere else, but that's no problem - it's just an excuse to go back!

Stopped at Disco Ranch on a whim in late January while on our way to a tasting at Roederer. One of the best decisions we've ever made. Why? 1-word: WENDY. Wendy is amazing, thoughtful, funny--abundant with her knowledge and her tastings (I lost count of how many times she poured a splash of something excellent we "just HAD to try"). This shop is the opposite of pretentious and each corner is filled with Wendy's very good judgement (the BEST tinned fish selection, the BEST 14-dollar bottle of old vine Spanish Carignan, the BEST selection of local wines and stories about the winemakers). Disco Ranch is the kind of place that makes you feel like a regular after only one visit. I hope Disco Ranch lives forever. We can't wait to stop there on out next trip to Anderson Valley (Would I move to Boonville just to hang out with Wendy? Maybe).
