Los Jilberto's Taco Shop Borrego Springs

The burger special was super good. Exactly done how wanted it. Kids running around, on and off benches... It seems there are no rules. The mother was too busy to note that, or she doesn't know better. The staff is very friendly and nice!

Overall this a great little place to grab a bite to eat. Very nice people behind the counter making your food. Prices are a little on the high side. That is understandable in this day and age. Air-conditioning is what this nice little restaurant needs. Sweating while trying to eat is never fun. I believe that if this little restaurant installed a new air-conditioning unit even more people would come to enjoy this delicious food.

Food was good service was good like the salsa bar was they had metal utensils hate plastic.

Food o.k,nothing great overpriced.

Best carnitas for a hundred miles. You can drive by it and never see it, it blends in. Look for the Pele wanna-be, sombrero wearing, pepper cabesa on the sign. I won't look anywhere else for quality food when I'm in the area again.

My favorite fish tacos in California! Whenever I'm in Borrego Springs I have to stop. The parking lot next to the restaurant has beautiful Palo Verde Trees that provide shade on a hot day which is a lovely spot if you have dogs in the car. Also Los Jilbertos has ice cream if you need to chill out.😋

We had 3 street tacos each. I had Al Pastor, my wife had shredded chicken. We also had a side order of fresh made chips.

The salsa bar had good choices. Loved the picked carrots & jalapenos.

Our food was good and reasonably priced. I'd say the food matches the overall Google rating. Good but not fantastic.

Why am I finding strands of hair in my food???!!!! LONG strands and more than one!!! this is unbelievable. I’ve never had this issue in all the years I’ve ordered from jilbertos. Please give your employees hair caps or make sure everyone’s hair is up!!! disgusting !!

Taco salad with shredded chicken and a large jamaica. Delicious and reasonable. Great salsas and they offer the pickled carrots, onions, jalapenos. The place was jumping at lunch time and the phone rang continuously. Somehow they managed to put out a good deal of food in a reasonable time. Next time - their burritos!
