Our waitress was so kind and attentive, she kept checking in to see if we were happy with our experience and I really appreciated it!! The food was hot and fresh, and there were also great drink options! I will definitely visit again if i happen to be passing through! We ordered cheese curds, smash burger(great dill pickles) and a portobello burger which had great toppings!

Vegetarian options: A fantastic portobello mushroom burger with great toppings! The blue cheese was high quality!

This place was cozy, cute, and WARM!
Cute set up and wonderful staff. My partner ordered a smash burger and onion rings, I ordered a Jr burger and garlic parmesean fries. The burgers were great! The veggies seemed so fresh and had that beautiful crunch that they should have. The pickles were yummy too, crunchy and pairing well with the burgers. The parmesean garlic fries were topped with parmesean cheese and minced garlic, SO DELICIOUS!

Great local eatery! Great outside venue. Live music in good weather. Great place to meet my local friends, and anyone else passing through the area. It is very near to my home, which makes it a 5? Except that, I just took the final steps to a plant based diet, no meat and dairy. I will be exploring their veggie offerings and hoping for something novel and delicious.
While their meat is very high quality, meat is meat - some of their dishes are a heart attack on a plate. Lumberjack fries - oh lord, help me. Addictive and so incredibly greasey.

Still no sweet potato fries... Still no traditional cider...
I'd be there every week if they had a cider I could drink, with a side of sweet potato fries, ranch, and a big salad. I ask and ask, and taste test every few months. :( They are convinced their cider is top notch, but ... it isn't for me, a long time drinker of ciders for many years before cider was trendy. Decades before this drier is better thing 🤦‍♀️. A few bottles in the back of the cooler - I would spend 5-6 bucks on a cider I cud get for 2, just to enjoy my very local eatery, a stones throw from my house. 🙏

This place is located in Boulder Creek mountains where you can smell the clean air of the Redwood trees. Love it🥰 The food is great and the staff is friendly. The menu has many options, so I will definitely return.

Parking: Not a whole lot of parking spaces, but there is also a park across the street where you can park too.

The Sawmill restaurant keeps evolving in a positively, great food, great atmosphere, and dog friendly restaurant! With a new menu being implemented multiple times since opening, and acclimating to community changes, this place is a keeper! Best cheese curds, and fried pickles, and being a vegetarian I know I will find a lot for me on their menu....

Went on Trivia night. Sat with strangers and has a blast being on their team. Tri-tip and cheesesteak sandwiches were great! Good prices and fun vibe!

Nestled along the scenic Highway 9, Sawmill Restaurant offers a charming spot for breakfast or lunch. I stopped in for a quick break and a soda and was warmly welcomed by the friendly host. Though I didn’t have time for a full meal, the inviting atmosphere and hospitality left a great impression. I’ll definitely return to fully experience what this cozy spot has to offer. Perfect for anyone traveling through the area and in need of a pleasant stop.

I was trying to make our waitress’ life easier by going in and asking for a refill instead of flagging her down as she looked very busy and hadn’t visited our table for a while, which I wasn’t even upset about. One of the managers (older woman and short hair) I’m guessing was incredibly rude and didn’t know I heard her call me “desperate for a drink” after making me feel dumb for asking for Coke instead of Pepsi. Incredibly rude for no reason. If you don’t like your job, don’t work it. You never know what someone is going through and I pray you have a better attitude towards others in the future, especially ones giving you money.

We loved our stop here! Would highly recommend lunch here and wish we had another trip planned in the area so we could return. The service was very friendly and the food was really good. Indoor or outdoor seating. Clean bathrooms.

The best place to stop on 9 in between obeying the speed limit. The food is decent but not amazing but not everything is supposed to be amazing. Service has always been great and the outdoor seating is great but the benches are kinda low. Makes you feel like you're sitting at a kid's table. Maybe some stone pavers under the legs would help. Nice beer selection, a full bar would be nice but cold beer on a hot day is hard to beat.

Great friendly staff every time. Great food, cooler inside in summer, super dog friendly out back (so fun). Tasty food to order. Restrooms clean. Different music for all, occasionally wee bit loud but fun. So worth the trip! Great job ?

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a gate to the back outdoor dining area right next to the handicapped parking spot and a long ramp to the front entrance ?
