Best burger around I'd go as far as saying the best overall place to go out and eat in the valley as far as quality and price

ZERO STARS. The "chef" Cisco needs to be fired. He intentionally made my buffalo wings extra spicy, to the point that they were inedible. My hubby loves spice and didn't want them. I knew he did this on purpose, because I heard him brag to a waitress about how spicy they were. Cisco then proceeded to go out the side door and smoke a joint. I both saw and smelled it.... Like, c'mon. I asked him to come and taste the food he served me. He came over, but refused to eat the food he was happy to charge me for. We then got into an argument, where he swore at me and made racist comments. The poor hostess Audrey was trying to reel Cisco in, while our own waitress was nowhere to be found. Audrey was doing the best she could given the situation, but Cisco is a loose cannon. He purposely serves garbage and then yells at customers. Un freaking believable, I almost called the cops because he was so out of control. Locals be warned, do not come here. I wouldn't even wish this hole on tourists.

I requested a medium rare burger and I got medium, however I didn't send it back because the charcoal flavor was something I hadn't tasted in so long. It was delicious.

I had the cheese burger and even though it didn't come out prepared as I ordered it (med-rare), I was pleasantly surprised by the texture and taste of a charcoal kissed beef patty chard to perfection,of which I had not tasted in, so very, very long. The regular style fries were also seasoned and delicious on their own without the help of ketchup. After tip we still ended up spending more than $20 per person (almost $50 for two) which is rather high in my opinion. I'd love to be able to enjoy this regularly, but it's going to be every once in awhile at these prices.

Food and service are delightful. And I'm serious. Always smiling, always aiming to please. The place has a nice suburban family friendly all are welcome cowboy vibe. Even the soda tap has extra syrup or something --delicious! You can tell everyone cares. We all want the neighborhood business to do well. They serve us so well. Thanks for my food

I am so sad I didn't take any pictures today. This place is awesome. Came in on a whim after a 5 mile hike in Big Basin State Park. When we arrived they said they were short-staffed and busy and it would be 45 mins to an hour to get served. We decided to stay and glad we did. We had 6 people in our party. Two of us (including me) had the Smashburger. Honestly one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. (Minus points for the cold onion rings. If I knew they upcharged me for the rings I would have sent them back). One had the fish tacos. He said they were ok. The others had the salad with walnuts and pears, and the Rueben sandwich. They said the food was delicious. And the staff? Friendliest in the world. We will be back! (Serve hot onion rings)

Love The Sawmill! Not an expansive menu but portions are huge and super tasty. Burgers are excellent. Onion rings are great and lots of great brews to try. Worth the drive
