I was with my cousin when she picked up a $380.00 plain, plain two tier wedding cake. When we arrived she was told they had to find a box for it. They found a cardboard box it would fit in and we had to ask for something to cover the open top. The following day was the wedding. The chocolate cake was dry and dense. The frosting tasted as if it had shortening in it. I certainly would not purchase anything from them.

I just visited the new Hapa bakery location and it was so pleasant!! The bakery smells divine and it is so cute inside. Desiree helped me pick out cookies and dog biscuits, and I noted the cakes and puddings for next time. I love the Hapa cupcakes but the cookies are a special treat for my family. The dogs loved the dog biscuit- two wagging tails approved!

Ordered the triple chocolate and vanilla cake. Triple was so good. Of course it being the smaller cake, it was all gone. The vanilla cake was really dry. Nobody wanted to finish it unfortunately. The design was beautifully decorated though. The buttercream filling inside was good. Picked up the cakes at the new location.

I was so happy to see Hapa Bakery on Birch St! The store is clean and bright and the manager on staff, Desiree, was so welcoming and friendly! The Tuxedo and Oreo Cookie cupcakes are the best!
I called on a Tuesday and asked if they did gender reveal cakes. They said they usually need more time with cakes but know gender cakes are time sensitive so they said they can have it done by Thursday. I was so excited and was so please how nice they were through the whole process. We got a small cake (smash cake size) and 6 cupcakes, it was kinda pricey but the taste of them was well worth it!!! I recommend them on their service and the quality of their desserts! Thank you for making this experience great!

This place is so good...I love their cupcakes! They have variety of flavors and desserts of this bakery. The bakers are super friendly and accommodating. I will be returning!

I love this location! It's definitely my go to as opposed to their Fullerton location. I feel it's never really been "too crowded" in the sense that I've always been able to find ample parking despite the size of the store. Recently, I've noticed they have been upping their marketing game. They send out little texts for deals and sometimes have free treats for customers on special days. I do feel like these things add up and make me still feel like I should go here as opposed to not coming here at all if they raised the price of one cupcake to $7 for example. Their cupcake prices did rise tiny bit post pandemic, but I do think taste wise they do a good job. Therefore, I occasionally buy a few whenever there's a bday and I need a quick treat to gift. However, I feel like the current price is really my max for one cupcake. Their staff has always been friendly and I hope they continue to do well.

Planning ahead won't make a difference here. One month before the second picture is what was agreed upon and the "leo babe" is what was given after being returned since there were NO decorations in sight. On top of below par product, the service is AWFUL. Giving attitude to the customer because they have a right to not like the product? Don't go here. Albertsons could do this cake better.

Purchased a cake for a birthday. They only had four cakes to chose from and the staff was not friendly. The price is steep for a small cake which I don't mind paying if the cake is worth it or any good. This cake was dry, fondant was very hard, and it was too sweet. Not coming back again!
