Local classic diner. The staff are very friendly and warm. The whole place is booth seating (a bit cramped, but I am a uh king sized man so nearly all booths are cramped for me). Only one thing stuck out to me that I didn't like and I can't really penalize them for if I'm being fair: they play Christian radio. Not loud, mind you, but still audible. Again, private business, private property, so again I won't ding them for that. Just know that if you do want...
This was my first time at John’s Place, and it felt like finding a time capsule from a time when authenticity came before modernity. The plants along the window are real. The lamps are real brass.
The food was usual diner fare but prepared with an impeccable attention to detail. Everything was toasted, smothered, and fried to perfection. No modern twists, no curveball, no change-up, nothing but GAS.

OK so first off I Love the food here and the employees are great! Only problem i see is the cooks should be using gloves...I seen one guy putting fries on the plate with his hands and another guy using his hands with spatula flipping burgers.
