I haven’t had a pastrami in a long time. The last I had one not from the Hat the pastrami way to fatty. The Hat has to use premium pastrami, because of it’s low fat content. I have to say the best pastrami sandwich I ever had. Hat’s off!

Good food and old fashion burger/sandwich spot. Enjoyed the famous Pastrami sandwich with mustard and pickles with fries. Kid friendly with a Jr. burger. My husband had chili cheese fries. Note that the large fries is more of a family style size it filled half ways up a paper bag.Kid-friendliness: Had a Jr. burger for kids and the place has room for kids with kids high chairs

The Hat is the BEST pastrami place ever!! I only wish there was one up North in Sacramento. But if not its nothing but a lil 6 1/2 hour drive to my favorite place ♥️ If you are ever in Southern California and you have never eaten at The Hat, you are truly missing out! Go to The Hat get a Pastrami sandwich, some Pastrami Chili cheese fries and an Orange Bang!!

BRING SELF-SERVE CONDIMENTS BACK. The pandemic is behind us and that excuse no longer applies. Now it is just about control and skimping on costs. Build self-serve condiments and supplies back into the price of the food. When I pick my items, I should not have to walk back to the counter and beg staff to stop what they are doing to get a fork, more napkins, mustard or ketchup, etc. They do not always ask. Before the health crisis these were readily available via self-serve. It slows staff productivity, they get irritated with customers and they wind up giving you absolute huge quantities of condiments, way more than requested. Talk about waste and a negative customer experience. BTW, the food was good! Wish the roast beef portion was as generous as the pastrami.

Excellent longtime to-go joint with a well-rounded menu. The portion sizes are generous, and everything is delicious from the hits (pastrami, chili, onion rings etc) to the more basic staples (deli sandwiches & burgers). Drive-thru service can be a bit slow, but it's something I'll gladly wait for.

World best pastami? Quiet possibly. Unfortunately had a violent episode of Nauea, vomitting and... yeah it was bad really bad. I called to let them know that something went terrible wrong after eating here but no one ever returned my call, frankly no one cares. I still love their pastrami but it left a bad taste in my mouth since that day. I can't pull myself to go back.
