While waiting for my wife to be finished with her appointment, I needed a snack to satisfy my sweettooth. So I used my trusty Yelp app to search for donut shops in the area. Dot & Dough - Brea popped up, and it was only 2 miles away from where I was. So off I went to check them out. Dot & Dough is located in a busy strip mall. This place is so cute! Mochi doughnuts were great and maladies were yum too. Tons of filling. Make sure you eat them warm...we waited and thought they would have been better eaten there. The person at the counter was super nice while she waited for us to decide.
Fresh malasadas? Yes please! They were delicious and cooked to order. I loved both the cinnamon sugar and Belgian chocolate ones. The strawberry pocky and homer chocolate mochi donuts were perfect. I was greeted with a smile and left with some fresh, yummy treats. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors. So happy to have one in Brea!
